I’m sorry but I have to do this. You should say they get information from mainly primary sources which are actual historical documents such a newspapers, journals, letters, period books, artifacts, etc and they also use secondary sources which are textbooks, monographs, peer reviewed journals, etc. secondary sources are basically things historians have already written and usually ones that have been recently published. Then you can get into historiography when dealing with secondary sources

how do you establish it's a journal account written by Thomas jefferson ? I THINK AM GETTING CLOSER though.... its just very hard to accept these accounts as a reliable source of information
