What does a Pro Drifter think of our stock MX5?

We chuck the keys to Matt's completely stock Mk3 MX5 2.0 to our good friend Martin Richards on a track day at Anglesey.
Martin also happens to be a professional drifter who normally drifts a 700bhp Skyline R32, so how will he get on in a bog standard MX5 on track where you're not supposed to drift. And what is his final verdict on the car?

The best about the MX-5 is its balance. Driving tight corners uphill feels so elegant like somebody gently pushed your butt. Forget high horsepower FWD, desperatly spinning for grip all day long. For FWD, shitbox with tiny engine for better balance it is!

Stiffer suspensions on the Mx5 would lead to the feeling of a lack of power, cause you'll be pushed to go faster and faster hence you'll notice the shortcomings of the engine sooner. If you wanna upgrade suspensions then a BBR kit feels like the best way to exploit that chassis.
