What Does a Regent Explorer Concierge and Penthouse Suite Really Look Like

A look at two categories of cabins on the year old Regent 7 Seas Explorer cruise ship. Discussed are the Concierge and Penthouse suites both on Deck 10 and both with extra-large Verandas.

Is this cabin under or over a noisy deck or disco club

A great question. I never would select a cabin anywhere near a disco or below a noisy deck (ie promenade, pool, buffet and dancing deck) . I also like to be at least two cabins away from stair and elevators, DING, DING. Soundproofing from cabins on either side, below and even above are excellent. Noise comes through the door. To answer you question: No this cabin is not in a noise prone area. Thank you

Leslie - you need to learn the Regent lingo - these are NOT 'cabins' - they are Suites!

Technically you are 100% correct, of course, as Regent uses the words "Suites" for their promotion purposes. But I do not work for Regent. I review their ships independently of their wishes . So I use the more common term for rooms ie "cabins" in my videos. In my mind, I reserve the word "suites" for the larger and much more expensive cabins on ships. I have yet to experience a true "suite" on Regent, though they do certainly exist.
