God bless the Florida farmers. God willing I will join your cohort soon. I'm thinking Gainesville area in the next couple of years. I'm currently in the Air Force and building up my finances so I can do that with my family. I got two little boys - 4 and 1 - they are both crazy about nature. Thank you for the content, very enjoyable to watch.

Great video. But, holy smokes, Elise. That bean your family has been growing is almost ready to bust out the pod! Way to go! And special thanks is deserved for all you and your family's hard work. The natural Florida(the one outside a parking lot in Orlando, or a golf course in Naples)desperately needs all the help she can get. Land clearing ramped up ten fold in 2020. So sharing and sowing the seeds of knowledge has never been more critical than it is now. So, again, thank you.

Hi Amy and John! I know this isn't your video but maybe you'll see this... The video came up randomly in my feed (okay, maybe not totally randomly, I watch a lot of gardening and permaculture videos) and I was like, oh my god, that's Caitlin's old roommates Amy and John! I remember your chickens and garden plot in Santa Cruz, I'm so totally blown away by what you've done with your farm. Seriously amazing, congrats! Anyway, so nice to see you both on here!

Why did the guy push the little girl that was hugging him? What an ass! I like what he was saying to that point. After that everything he said fell on deaf ears.

Nice vid, but I was disappointed that an organic farm would help sell hydro/aquaponic lettuce... or any crop grown that way. The soil food web is what grows healthy food.

I think a lot of consumers are used to year round everything, they are trying to help fill that demand in the best way possible. Amy & John put a ton of work into building a glorious soil food web!

@@patrickkish6662- where do you draw the line? Is undermining more than a generation of education of consumers about organic worth it?
@patrickkish6662

@@allanturpin2023 Gotta pick and choose your battles. And, often, the best choice isn't even a battle. It's choosing to let your own life be an expression of the values through your words/actions. You've been heard. And I can only represent myself. My actions. And if they're positive, it will resonate as such. As far as where to draw the line? I can only speak for myself. But I'd say abuse, destruction, and mayhem. Everything else is workable. In Florida, erosive and destructive practices are rampant. So any form of stewardship, on any level, is appreciated. Especially when you've seen hundreds of acres of woods be bulldozed into a pile, and set fire, just this week, for golf and condos. So we must use our critical ears and eyes wisely.

I have to say the most disappointing thing about this video was the lack of concern for stopping the spread of Covid by using masks. What is the point of all this “heathy” farming when a basic lack of concern about disease and the spread of deadly microorganisms is such a low priority? Disappointed.
