What does an Avocado flower look like???

You are the only one who show the beginning of the avocado flower bud. 👍 I think this year my avocado is going to flower for the first time, so I was looking for pictures or video to confirm my suspicion. Thanks!

Those more than likely are the old leaves that will drop in favor of the newly emerging leaves that come out this time of year. Keep those old leaves in your mulch piles for nutrition for the trees. The trees recycle their own leaves to add nutrition back to the ground.

What are the signs that I am over-watering or under-watering my avocado plants? I recently had one of my avocado plants succumb to probable root rot where all the leaves dropped and the stems became black. Do you have suggestions as to how to avoid this moving forward? Currently, my five avocado plants are inside since the weather is too cold where I live for them to be outside. I water them with a generous amount of water once a week when the drain pot underneath each planter is dry. I also spray their leaves with a spray bottle of water about twice a week. Each planter has numerous drain holes and all the avocado plants are planted in soil based on one of your videos (a mixture of perlite, pumice stone, garden soil, and earthworm casings with some mulch on top).

I don’t know if you should be spraying the leaves indoors. Not sure why your having problems. Sorry I’m not much help.

Just add a seed to water and it will grow.
