Hi there , i went through the clean slate program in California , i had a 2nd degree burglary on my record , but now i was granted 17(b) & 1203.4 and my felony was reduced to a misdemeanor, is this an expungement im a little confuse ?

Great question. A petition under 17(b) and 1203.4 is considered California's version of an "expungement" - expungements mean different things in different states. In California getting a 1203.4 granted doesn't "erase" the record of the conviction from your criminal history rather it changes the language in the record to reflect that the case was dismissed instead of convicted. Hi, I had a petty theft incident in florida and was able to have an expungement done. I will be moving to CA to start looking for speech language pathologist job and have to get a state license. Do I need to say yes on my license application even though i got an expingement?

You do need to state it and they will ask you for the expunged paperwork

No you don’t expungement means the record is destroyed in your state so you can legally say you never were arrested or convicted the record does not exist.

A California version of an “expungement” is a petition to dismiss which changes a conviction to a dismissal - it does not erase what happened. California does not have “expungements” like other states.
