From Chicago but I love the ravens. They just got a PLAYMAKER in EJ. Instinctive player that can be deceptive for opposing offenses. Can’t wait to see this guy get in a rhythm in BMore

For the money, I think Eddie is a solid, nice pickup for an already elite secondary room. I don't really see him as better or worse than Geno Smith and Geno did pretty well in Baltimore.

They not elite just yet they score more on defense and make those game change play Eddie going fit right in

@@Zappy1210 I also think him being able to show the new rookie the ropes can’t hurt. He clearly has plenty of ball knowledge. With Nate’s speed some nice pressure can be created.

I finally got to watching the "Bullies of Baltimore" 30 for 30, and something that really stuck out to me (apart from Goose being his normal hilarious self, RIP Goose) was that there were leaders on all levels of that defense. Up front, the linebackers, and the secondary. I think we're getting there with our current team as well!

Agree. Great comparison, and a high standard for this Defense to aim for. I have not watched that yet, I would like to.

I was going to try and write an article to define “dawg” but hearing your explanation would be much much better!

It was actually the name of a defensive position in the Defense I learned.

I'm hoping that maybe after year after year of losing seasons and seeing most of his previous teammates leaving the bears Eddie Jackson maybe just wanted out so maybe he got a little lazy on purpose to be released or maybe it was the lisfranc injury taking an extra season to fully heal and this season we get the full go Eddie jackson.thats my hope

I don’t think geno was that great I don’t wanna come off as a hater but geno was definitely a product of the system

He looks like he\'s doing what Edmunds has been accused of since coming to the Bears, waiting for the plays to come to him, not sure what his role is. If McDonald was still on the Ravens I'd be thinking great, he'll learn that there but as far too many assistants to great coaches have proven, they don't always 'get' every aspect of coaching. As for the Bears, as I've mentioned before, there's a ton of denial surrounding Eberflus. He _boasted about_ meddling in the offense & when the Bears went on that streak of leading the NFL in offense weeks 8-10 of '22 *_Fields_** got blamed* for losing all 3 of those games. Somehow, the HC everyone had So Much Confidence In they didn't know who the DC was couldn't find it within themselves to remember he called the defense. Then the play-calling _on_ offense. The fan base *and media* first excused it as something they 'had to do' in order to simplify the offense for Fields (who they all thought couldn't read defenses). Then when Eberflus decided to return to those plays they blamed that decision on Getsy. As if Getsy could sneak using bad plays onto the field in front of the eyes of a competent HC & gotten away with it. Like is everyone *related to Eberflus* that he can't be blamed for any of the things? Even the ones He Himself Says are his decisions? Anyhow this should work out karmically if 1) his & Waldron's play-calling continues as both have been & 2) Fields _gets to start_ again. But then there's 2a) & 2b). Arthur Smith Plays Favorites & early reports indicate Fields isn't one of his. & Fields did pick up bad habits by the end of his time with the Bears. He doesn't have to be an MVP, just prove _again_ that the play-calling was at fault. Not that any of the fans in denial now will come out of it then, but at least *I'll* have more fodder for what I've been claiming for almost two full years now.
