What does "equitable remedy" mean?

Usually, in civil litigation, a plaintiff sues for money, or "damages". However, sometimes, one can ask the court for non-monetary relief, e.g. injunctions (ordering the other side to do something or stop doing something www.law.cornell.edu/wex/injun...) Heather Douglas explains what these non-monetary or "equitable remedies" are in civil litigation.

Wow!! coming across this video was very timely. Presently, I seem to be in a quagmire ( well, at least to me) where there is a defect in a grant deed title that needs to be corrected according to a Title Company. As such, this presentation has given me insight into possibly pursuing "equitable remedy" in small claims court as a option. Thank you.
