I lived in Fort Lauderdale Florida and would fly out of FLL a lot. It was nice then but really nice now!

Definitely a great airport to use instead of Miami! I have been here 2 times the security was only like 5-10 minutes each time I was there. Definitely a great airport being right near the cruise port and right in between Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale!

Terminal 1 is beautiful esp concourse A. Terminal 3 is an entirely different experience and not for the better

Love this review! Ive only been to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Intl. once and had to transfer to Miami Intl. but really want to go back! And maybe get a 7am burger😂. Youre amazing as always and i hope you're well😁

Terminal 1 is beautiful. Terminal 3 is an entirely different experience. Low ceilings , no room by the gates leads to a crowded concourse. You can an entirely different feel depending on the terminal you use

We agree. It’s gotten to a point that we try to figure out which airline uses which terminal so we go to the nicer one for FLL or any other city. Same with LaGuardia Airport which has a brand new terminal and you can still fly out of Marine air terminal which is old (classic) but small and cramped

@@KhizEesa Dulles airport is another one. A/b is beautiful. C/d is dingy , old and low ceiling weigh no space which unfortunately their major carrier United. BUT they are building a new one

Thank you for sharing. I have question, if you don't mind. We are returning a rental as you did, but we are planning on taking an Uber or taxi to the cruise port after returning the rental. Do they have signs that show you how to get to the taxi or Uber locations after you have returned your rental? And is it far? Thanks in advance.

Excellent question. The rental building is multi-level and it is a quick walk from where you return your rental to the Rideshare (Uber or LYFT) pickup area. There is some confusion on which floor you are on for the Rideshare drivers and our first LYFT driver went to a different floor and then canceled the ride on us. The next one, we mentioned in the notes that we were on 2nd or 3rd floor and it worked. Tip: Just note the floor. We will be making that video later (sorry we don’t have a video on that posted just yet) but previously we made a video on just walking from the airport to the Car Rental (kzbin.infooqSG4NyDh4g?si=kcPNApdPyi5wTdGv) hope all this helps!

Yes we do, we did a weekend trip cause we found cheap tickets from Islip Airport to Fort Lauderdale. We took the whole family, rented a car from Fort Lauderdale and drove to Key West for one night (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHuZZGmGhamnaJIsi=RVKbtjJ9KoV6NlxB). We stayed at a beautiful Hyatt property (kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWmWend3abuKas0si=ctKPvPRRZ-ksmghr) and drove back next day!

Hi I Have a question when u exit from the plane where do u enter do u just walk n end u in the waiting area or u go thru tsa before International flight

When we exit from the plan, of your flight is leaving from the same terminal that you are fine. We have not transitioned at FLL from domestic to international so not sure what terminal your flight is leaving from.
