what does home mean? | moments of JULY

July went by so quickly, here're a couple of moments I captured from different days. Forgive my skin, it has been acting up for almost 2 whole weeks & I can't figure out why. I'm also probably going to be shooting a lot more from my parents' place, now that I've moved back! Am happy to be back but I can't wait to get a place of my own. Since I was a kid, it's always been my dream to own a home. Growing up was complex & it wasn't difficult to feel too close for comfort at times. Now that I'm older, I'm trying to take active steps to actually attaining my dream!

as an american that barely understands singapore... having your own home seems like a sense of a huge accomplishment... totally understand why ur emotional about it... just dont quite understand why u dont feel safe at home but thats between u and u only i guess... hope u achieve ur dream very berry soon!!!

In all honesty I m in my mid thirties but with poor planning I can't just get own places and still stay with my parents and not going too deep but I somehow understand what you mean by not feeling safe at home and I like you how brave you are to accept your feelings and work on something be it buy a flat or now renting one

Only 4 to 6 months? I was away 7 years in Canada. You’re not the only one can’t afford a home my dear, all over the world people are facing this. So either rent or save until 35 go buy a HDB resale. No wonder you bought a home with your boyfriend in a rush, broke up and pay a financial penalty.
