I’ll give you one point, can there ever be a 1 gender protest as in all men or all women? Free mixing is haram and so as you see these protests are created by free mixing
@ayyahayoub33754 жыл бұрын
Nabil Yasin using that logic public school should be haram as well, intention should be the focus, there are muslims in china being killed & put in concentration camps currently. should we stand by and allow it to happen?
@ayyahayoub33754 жыл бұрын
we should be speaking out against injustice, islam encourages us to stand with the oppressed. he says use your voice doesn’t mean to protest, but that’s what a protest is, using your voice to be heard
@nabilyasin20884 жыл бұрын
Ayyah Ayoub girls are encouraged to study at home but some students of knowledge say that education is best achieved through attending school so it shouldn’t be that you can free mix when you like. Same as going to the market isn’t haram but that doesn’t make protesting halal. Protesting isn’t something we created rather took it from the west and so regardless of the case we shouldn’t resort to protesting as there are other means to attaining the goal. It would make more sense for all the women to cover themselves in a way that doesn’t attract attention of men but that’s not what’s happening now is it. So it’s not just a case of “everyone should focus on the goal” because that’s not realistic and individuals are bound to be affected which is exactly why unnecessary free mixing is haram . I hope I’ve answered accordingly
@ayyahayoub33754 жыл бұрын
Nabil Yasin as you said knowledge is best achieved through attending school, women shouldn’t be given any less of a chance, or opportunity. if you believe in no free mixing then neither men nor women should be attending public school, you can’t disadvantage someone based on their gender. it’s not choosing to free mix when you want, you can’t deny women the right to go out. and yes people should focus on the goal of the protests, that is 100% achievable, men are definitely capable of protesting for equality without harassing women, if you don’t believe you or the people you know are capable of that, it isn’t women protesting that you should be worried about, that’s not the women’s fault. even when people go to the masjid for prayer there is both men & women, you can’t pick and chose what is free mixing. saying that fighting against injustice isn’t necessary isn’t true, people are being killed, it is a necessity, as we would stand if it was our muslim brothers and sisters being killed, we should do the same now.
@ayyahayoub33754 жыл бұрын
speak can mean protesting, it means using your voice to spread awareness. when people are being killed, you can’t sit and wait for change to happen. a good analogy is if you are applying for a job, you are going to make duaa to get the job, but you aren’t going to stop there, you’re going to work towards meeting it’s requirements. Allah does provide, but you can’t expect to be handed everything
@Whichofthefavors4 жыл бұрын
So, what to do you advise we do as Muslims?
@AhmedQuthb4 жыл бұрын
He's talking about the Mass Protests which Involves Free Mixing. Also there's particular Jurisdictions for that hadith. Fiqh needs to be implemented. Don't be Ignorant fall for the Deception Shaytans do. Actually only these kinda Perspectives are gonna save our Muslim Ummah from doing shirk. Literally the entire System governing the Globe is haraam.(ie, Secularism, Democracy, Monarchy, Feminism, Liberalism, Radicalism, Conservatism, Education System, Monetary System, Paper Currency etc) It is because for all these Allah subahanu watala'a has given us Perfect Halal Alternatives. Its just the Khilafat is not here for it to Implement. But as you know its all part of Allah Azzawajjal's plan. He's Testing us to be honest. Then why ekse do you think Allah Azzawajjal gave us the story of the People of Cave in Surah Al Kahf? Why did Muhammad ﷺ told us to recite Surah Al Kahf every Friday? Why is Friday day of My congregation for us? Now that is our Protest. Just take a moment back and reflect upon the Qur'aan, you'll see the broader view. If Muslims and Disbelievers have the same System then how do we differ from them? We can come in certain common terms with Some Jews & Christians only. No need just imagine it like this; When Isa alaihisalam & Imam Mahdi comes will we Muslims do the same? No we'll do Bai'yah and follow our Leader. Khilafat will only be restored then. Until there's much have got to do. There isn't going to be Eternal Peace in this Dunya! Only for few decades when Isa Ibn Mariyam Alaihisalam Rules the World there will be Justice & Harmony in the Worls. Now that's just before the End of the World. Amidst this confusion & chaos many of us are forgetting our True Purpose, Obligations, Meaning of Life. Allah will not change our Condition until we chabge Ourselves. Read, Reflect and Ponder upon the Qur'aan my beloved. It is the only source of True Guidance and Inner Peace. Listen to the Beautiful Qirat of the Qur'aan Al Kareem. Follow the Sunnah maximum, Stay Humble, Be Grateful everything Allah has blessed you with. Now that's how we Protest. Instead of hiding & confining our Deen and Akhkaq show it, live it. Attaing Paradise is True Success not the Enjoyment in this Deluded Life. May Allah subahanu watala'a Forgive and have Mercy on my Ummah. Aameen:)

Assalamualaikum, I actually watched sh Yasir Qadhi's talk on protests. He really emphasized to take advice from the local shaikh in your area, because each person and even scholars are a product of the culture they were brought up in. Sh Qadhi doesn't disown this shaikhs views on protests being Haram, but instead he emphasizes the history of the results of protesting, such as civil rights, women's suffrage, etc. Protesting in itself is a way to show authority that there is something wrong and to give reason for change, given the numerous amounts of people that show up at rallies. Thus it is charged to say that protests are Haram , but Allah swt knows best. Please do not attack me, I am also learning.

@lazna2423 Жыл бұрын
Assalamu Alaykum! It's not very Islamic to protest because it brings more fitna and nothing good ever comes out of it so it is categorised as haram by scholars i think. It was also never done by the prophet SAW, the sahabas RA or the taabi iin and they were the ones who faced the most injustice. And Allah knows best. I also think you should also do own research on it if you want. May Allah guide us to the right path.

I really don't understand what this sheikh is saying 🙄🙄now what is to protest? And what did Rasool mean in removing it with your hands? I don't even know what to say but am not satisfied with this lecture
@arnoldinho72173 жыл бұрын
Removing something with your hand is for the one in authority. E.g. a husband and father is obliged to remove the munkar and haram things brought in his house by his wife and children or other family members. Stopping people from selling alcohol in the shops in a Muslim land is obviously for the muslim leader who has authority to handle such an issue and not for the vigilante to go and break the bottles in the shop. Such an action might get him beaten or even killed. And as for speaking up against evil, it follows the above mentioned principles. Only those in a position of authority, depending on the situation, should speak out.
@semirla4 жыл бұрын
Protesters spoke with their Activist/leaders and politicians heard their message ... So protest/marching is not looting, looting is not allowed by the law or religion. It is a big subject but generalizing protest/marching and giving Fatwa with mostly opinionated explanation is not acceptable. You scholars shouldn't rush to give answers before giving a lot of religious though on a subject matter ... just my opinion too.. Allah knows best
