I think many people "believe in", but not believing for, as in trusting him for eternal life once and for all. Being convinced he alone holds the power to save to all who trust in his work as being final, is what brings peace and assurance. Praise God!

All men are under condemnation due to sin, all have sinned, Jesus came into the world to save sinners by paying the price of your sins to God for you. Jesus is the satisfactory payment for sin, he satisfies the wrath of God for your and my sin, salvation is free and lasts forever. Good video.

Then everyone is saved, correct? Acts 2:38 " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins". In Col 2:12-14 it says, " Buried with Jesus in baptism in which you were also raised up with Jesus THROUGH FAITH IN THE WORKING OF GOD. God MADE US ALIVE TOGETHER WITH HIM, HAVING FORGIVEN US ALL OUR TRESPASSES". This goes with Acts 2:38 Romans 6:3 says that when you are baptized into Christ, you are buried/raised with Jesus and that your old self was crucified with Jesus so that the sinful body might be destroyed, for he who has died is freed from sin.....and you receive sanctification/eternal life, v22. Gal 3:26-27 says we become children of God by faith when we have been baptized into Christ, when we put Christ on.

It means that you can "BELIEVE IN HIM", for three seconds, well maybe one minute, then you can do whatever you want and heaven will still be your home. After one minute you can have an " evil unbelieving heart and fall away from the living God', Heb 3:12, yet you will still be saved. And you can also after one minute of believing " Depart from the faith and give heed to doctrine of demons", 1 Tim 4:1, and yet you will still be saved. But if you walk in the light, live by the Spirit, you are a work salvationist and you are lost for you are trying to earn your salvation. So, everyone, GES, Tim, Alvin earn their salvation by walking in darkness.......

A key question.. I ll listen carefully. What about 1 Timothy 1:16 being translated "believe in him AND received eternal life" (NIV, NLT, GNB and also N T Wright"s NTFE)???

How to go to Heaven. Believe on Jesus Christ(who is Lord, God and Savior). Believe, trust and have faith that Jesus alone will save you. You should also believe and trust that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Jesus’s death on the cross for our sins and shed blood is justification(to make right/forgive) of all your sins allowing you to go to Heaven if you believe on Jesus.

Jesus said in Luke 24:47 that remission of sins to be preached in his name would begin in Jerusalem and this happens in Acts 2 where Peter preaches the first gospel sermon. They asked Peter, " What must we do" and Peter said " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins", and it says that when they did so, they were added to the saved, v41 v47. So, why were they not saved in v37 when they were "CUT TO THE HEART"? for in v 40 Peter tells them to " SAVE THEMSELVES". So, you have UNSAVED BELIEVERS, water baptism was something they MUST DO, and they weren't added to the saved until they received the word and were baptized. The thief on the cross didn't believe in the DBR of Christ, so does that mean I don't have to either? 1 John 1:7 " Walk in the light as he is in the light and the blood of Christ cleanses you from all unrighteousness ......if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins....". So, must we walk in the light? When we are baptized, our passed sins are forgiven, we become children of God, Gal 3:26-27 and Acts 2:38, and as we walk in the light, confessing our sins.....Jesus is faithful and just and will forgive those sins that we have committed...... But GES, Tim, Alvin believe you do not have to walk in the light, for if you do, you are a work salvationist trying to earn your salvation and you are lost. So, they believe apparently that you must walk in darkness to earn your salvation.

You said, "Believe, trust and have faith that Jesus alone will save you." Do "believe," "trust," and "have faith" have the same meaning? If so, could you just say, "Believe that Jesus alone will save you?" If they do not have the same meaning, then how do their meanings differ? You also said, "You should also believe and trust that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures." Does "should" mean "must" in this context? Are "believe" and "trust" synonymous in this context?

@@michaelparsons7474 Believe and trust mean the same thing and are interchangeable in the Bible. Faith is confidence in things hoped for, evidence of things unseen. Faith is believing something you can’t see. I am not sure that believing Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day saves by itself so I put should. Does this help?

@michaelparsons7474 What was Jesus's first command when He started His earthly ministry? Mark 1:15 The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” Matthew 4:17 Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near. Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to REPENTANCE. Mark 2:17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the RIGHTEOUS but SINNERS to REPENTANCE. Mark 6:12 They [Disciples] went out and preached that people should REPENT. Luke 13:3 I tell you, no! But UNLESS YOU REPENT, YOU TOO WILL ALL PERISH. Luke 15:7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one SINNER WHO REPENTS than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to REPENT. Luke5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but SINNERS TO REPENTANCE.” Matthew 11:20 Then Jesus began to denounce the towns in which most of his miracles had been performed, because THEY DID NOT REPENT. Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Mark4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them Jesus's final command after the resurrection. What was Jesus's final command after the resurrection? Luke24:47 And REPENTANCE FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS will be preached in His name to ALL NATIONS, beginning at Jerusalem. So repentance is the consequence of faith. In other words IF all we had to do is believe then why did Jesus say to Repent over and over again? Why didn't He simply say believe each time instead? No free gracer has ever been able to answer that question that should be very easy since they are entrusting their souls to this erroneous teaching.

@JonBelieve thank you for your kind reply. With respect to assurance of what is the object of belief for salvation, Jesus said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life." John 6:47. He said this prior to his death, burial, and resurrection. It seems to me that the person who believes the promise of John 6:47 has believed in Jesus and knows that he has everlasting life. In other words, Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection are not the object of belief for salvation. In fact, John indicated the death, burial, and resurrection was one of the "signs" of which he wrote so that his readers would believe in Jesus for the life He repeatedly promised in John's Gospel - a life that has no end, namely, everlasting life. See John 20:30-31.

1John 4:9 " God sent his Son into the world, so that we might LIVE THROUGH HIM". 1 John 2:17 " He who does the will of God abides forever" 1 John 3:22 " Because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.....all who keep his commandments abide in him". Romans 1:5 " Bring about the obedience of the faith.." Romans 16:26 " To bring about the obedience of faith" Romans 6:16 " Do you not know that if you yield yourselves to any one as OBEDIENT SLAVES, you are slaves of the one you OBEY, either of sin, which leads to death, or of OBEDIENCE..." Heb 11:8 " By FAITH Abraham OBEYED".... John 3:20 " For every one who does evil hates the light.....but he who does what is true comes to the light.....he who does not OBEY the Son shall not see life".. John 6:27 " Labor for the food which endures to eternal life".. John 11:26 " whoever LIVES AND BELIEVES in me shall never die" James 2:26 " Faith apart from works is dead" Gal 3:26-27 says that we become children of God by faith when we have been baptized into Christ, when we put Christ on. GES, Tim, Alvin, Soljos, believe you are saved by a dead faith, like the demons have. They believe that if you "walk in the light" as 1 John 1:7 says, them you are trying to earn your salvation and will go to hell. So, that means they believe you must walk in darkness to earn your salvation. And tell us, HOW LONG MUST WE BELIEVE TO BE SAVED? They believe you can have an "evil unbelieving heart, fall away from the living God", Heb 3:12 and you will still be saved and they believe you can "depart from the faith and give heed to doctrine of demons" and still be saved. This is what it means to "BELIEVE IN JESUS", to GES, Tim, Alvin.......the faith of demons.

question, what percentage of obedience/faithfullness to christ is required to be TRUELY saved?? james 2:10 says if we keep ALL of Gods laws but fail at ONE point we are guilty of all", paul says if you are depending upon keeping Gods laws to save you you are under a CURSE becouse NO ONE is 100% obedient to God 100% of the time. "believing" in Jesus means you are trusting him alone to save you. YOU are teaching that "believe in Jesus" means "faithfullness to God", this is JUDAISM not new testiment chrisianity. I strive to be faithful to christ but NOT for salvation. lordship/kingship salvation is NOT new testiment salvation but heresy. ( I used to be a lordship salvationist)

You sin . So , you're a sinner like me and every other mere human who's ever lived . Are your sins less than mine or any other mere human who has ever existed ? How do you Objectively Know that ? Why do you sin at all ? When you sin , are you "24/7/365" Perpetually "walking in the Light" ...with an "active Obedient faith, Fully Following all His Commandments" ? When you sin , do you Lose or Forfeit Temporary Conditional Probationary life , or Everlasting endless Life ? Did the Substitutionary Sacrifice of Jesus Fully Propitiate for all sins ever committed - Judicially - thus making our behavioral performance (works) entirely devoid of any merit in the reception of His Free Gift of Endless Everlasting Life ? Or , is your behavioral performance (works) the Decisive Factor in your Everlasting destination ? How does that harmonize with Ephesians 2:8-9 ; Romans 3:20-5:11,11:6,29 ; Titus 3:5 ; Philippians 3:9 ; book of Galatians ?

So, you don't believe the record God gave us about his Son? You don't believe you have eternal life right now? Your hope is in your flesh and yourself and hoping to earn the free gift of eternal life. 1 John 2 25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 1 John 5 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

@@jimb-o4h I do not believe in keeping the law, it was done away with, I do keep the law of faith, Romans 3:27 it says that boasting is excluded through the law of faith. Believing in Jesus is doing what Jesus said as pointed out in the above scriptures. What percentage of walking in darkness can I do and still be saved? For if I do not have to be faithful/obedience, then according to you, I can walk in darkness and be saved, so how long? how long can I live after the flesh? Tell us, how long must we believe? before we can have an "evil unbelieving heart falling away from the living God", Heb 3:12, and still be saved? Three seconds? one minute? one week? Tell us how long must I believe before I can "depart from the faith and give heed to doctrine of demons", and still be saved? 1 John 1:7 says to " Walk in the light as he is in the light and the blood of Christ cleanses you......confess your sins and he is faithful and just and will forgive you of all your sins", I walk in the light and part of walking is to confess my sins, which I do, so I am forgiven. Now, what about you? do you walk in the light? or do you walk in darkness? Romans 8 you either live according to the flesh or you live according to the Spirit, it says if you live by the flesh you set your minds on things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on things of the Spirit. To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set your mind on the Spirit it is life and peace.....we are debtors, not to the flesh, for if you LIVE ACCORDING TO THE FLESH you will die, but if by the Spirit YOU PUT TO DEATH THE DEED OF THE BODY you will live. FOR ALL WHO ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD ARE SONS OF GOD". I live by the Spirit, I am led by the Spirit.....but apparently you believe you can live by the flesh and you would ask Paul, WELL PAUL WHAT PERCENTAGE must I be led by the Spirit? But since you believe in OSAS, you believe that after you have been saved, you can walk after the flesh, 24/7/365 never repent or confess, and heaven will be your home, correct!! And Jesus said in John 3:21 " Whoever DOES WHAT IS TRUE COMES TO THE LIGHT", but you would ask Jesus, well Lord, what PERCENTAGE MUST I DO WHAT IS TRUE? but again, you believe you do not have to do what is true, OSAS, you believe that you can do as v20 says, " Every one who does evil hates the light" and you will still be saved, and I can hear you asking the Lord, HOW LONG CAN I DO EVIL, LORD? So, GES, Jimb, believe if you walk in the light, live by the Spirit, obey the Lord's commands, you are a work salvationist trying to earn your salvation, and you are lost. But they believe if you walk in darkness, live by the flesh and disobey his commands, you are going to heaven. So GES and Jim are earning their salvation by walking in darkness, living by the flesh......... BTW, do you walk the narrow path? or the wide path? which one........

@@timgrady4630 So, Tim earns his salvation by walking in darkness, for Tim says that if you walk in the light 1 John 1:7 or live by the Spirit, Romans 8, you are a works salvationist, trying to earn your salvation and you are lost. Tim tell us, how long do we have to believe? to be saved? three seconds? one day? week? How long must we believe before we can " Depart from the faith and give heed to doctrine of demons", 1 Tim 4:1 and still be saved? Threes seconds?
