🌿 Ever thought of what it would actually take to run a massive Estate. How much hard work, and dedication you must have. Well, in this week's captivating video! Join me as I delve into the extraordinary life of my friend Ian and his team of three, who manage acres upon acres of fields, forests, and a winding river on their picturesque estate.
Ever wondered what it's like to care for ducks, pheasants, and geese, ensuring their well-being and even overseeing their breeding? Or what it takes to maintain a balance in the grey squirrel population, preventing them from getting out of hand? Ian faces these challenges and more, showcasing the daily grind of running a thriving estate.
In this immersive experience, I had the privilege of spending a few hours with Ian this weekend, gaining insight into the intricacies of his daily routine. From the joys of tending to the land to the responsibility of hunting and butchering quality free-range meat, the journey is far from easy.
Join me as I step into Ian's shoes, learning the art of butchering, trying out firearms for the first time, and exploring the breathtaking beauty of the estate he rents. Discover the passion and purpose behind Ian's choice to embrace this unique lifestyle, even in the face of opinions that may differ.
🌳 If you've ever been curious about the dedication required to run an estate, or if you simply appreciate the artistry of sustainable living, this video is a must-watch! Subscribe, like, and hit the notification bell to join us on this remarkable journey into the heart of estate management and the pursuit of a simpler, more connected way of life.
I just want to thank Ian once again for having me and Charlie over for the morning, it was an experience we both won't forget, thanks pal!

I cannot lie. This is all so common to me. Hunting and dressing game and firearms are normal things in my life. I totally respect the conservation and care and management shown here. America is different - the rural midwestern U. S. even more different from U. K. Respect and Honor is unchanged. Very interesting video. I like the variety you bring.

Hi Benny mate, thank you mate, very kind. You never know the reaction of our viewers when I release certain films on our channel. There is a reason for each of these types of films that hopefully I'll share with you all one day but this particular film I wanted folks to have an insight into Ian's outdoor lifestyle and I think we captured it perfectly. Yes mate, he's a gentleman, he really is. We had such a fab morning, I'm very lucky to know people like him and class them as friends. Benny, I'll love to mate. Have you done it long mate? Big thanks for watching pal

Good to hear you're back to health now Ant. Yep, proper meat has time to live. Plus country life is far more than natural than portrayed. I draw the line at fox and badger murderers, but proper country pursuits are time honoured and okay by me.

Hi Mark, yeah getting there pal, still rough like. Definitely, that comment from Ian about the chickens in pens just for 6 weeks really shocked me. I agree with the fox and badgers and I've never spoken to Ian regarding that but I still get they need to be watched and culled if needed due to size, badges spread TB amongst cattle. There's a reason in this world for every animal its how you deal with them that counts in my eyes. Thank you pal.

Fascinating & really well done 👏 Guns & hunting are such a big part of the culture in certain parts of the U.S. It's always interesting to see how the sport is perceived in other countries. Cheers 🍻

Hi Ted, thank you matey, I'm glad you liked the video. I was hoping to get you guys over the pond to watch and get your thoughts on it. If you could forward it to your friends also, I would appreciate that Ted. You guys still have that hunts instinct instilled in you, it's in your bloodlines still. Here unfortunately it is but with people like Ian spreading the word and hopefully giving people something to think about and me being able to document it I'm chuffed pal. It's gone down better than I expected as I thought viewers just would give the film a chance and watch it all the way through but its gone down very well. The thing is I have a very broad and open minded set of subscribers on my channel and I'm very thankful of that mate.
