I’m new to owning mules. My mule isn’t saddle trained or even green broke. I’ve put saddles on him before but I’m postponing saddle training or getting on him again until I get a mule tree saddle so I don’t get bucked off again. Should I save up to get one custom fitted or can any mule saddle work? I think mine has more withers than the average mule. He wasn’t able to buck an English saddle over his withers the one and only time he ever bucked with a saddle on

@@brookiebb4483 a horse saddle can fit a mule, a mule saddle can fit a mule… but horse saddle can also not fit them, and mule saddles can also not fit them either. All animals are different. You need someone experienced to make sure your saddle fits, but it doesn’t have to be “custom”
