Hey Ben how great is the involvement in the gloveside? Is my front shoulder suppose to actively pull with my torso or should it’s simply be guide by the torsos rotation it’s self?

Don't think about the glove side that much. It should mirror your throwing arm in the sense that if your throwing arm is long then the glove arm is also long. Think more about your spine/pelvis. Proximal to distal.

Ben, love the content man. One small suggestion would be to get rid of the elevator music in the background. That was rough!

If you generally don't have access to soft tissue tools. What mobility exercises can you do for your pec in the offseason? I'm pushing out a little bit right now and it's something I'm trying to fix. Super helpful explanation by the way. Love the content!

You can buy a lacrosse ball for pretty cheap under 10 bucks, with that you can get into your pec by rolling it on a wall or ground with the lacrosse ball

@@Railyn_04 do you know of any drills to feel it, or it is just a trial and error thing. I'm only 14 so I'm trying to focus on the basics

Thank you very much for all the content you put out! I was wondering at what point would you say the arm itself adds to the acceleration? Not sure I'm asking that correctly...I realize that the arm needs to be relaxed and be pulled through via the kinetic chain, but is there a cue regarding the arm itself getting involved? Thank you!

Thx for sharing. But don’t you think pulling could cause too much pressure on shoulder?

Ben, I recently got back into baseball after a 5+ year throwing hiatus (being in the Air Force made it hard to play baseball). I graduated college in 2012 and played a couple years of D3 ball, topped out at 86-87. As I'm playing hardball in San Antonio (where I live now), I've been recently gunned on a pocket radar sitting 90, topping 92. I took a number of months to ease into a throwing program so as not to stress the tendons/joints. Now I'm starting to feel like I've established a new baseline for my performance. My mechanics are more sound/fluid now, in my opinion, but I'm obviously not on a college lifting program. What are some physiological factors that could lead to me throwing harder now? Is there anything that you would recommend for an older pitcher, as far as stretches/strengthening? Anything that you'd specifically recommend for injury prevention? At the very least I think an "old timers" video would be interesting. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

It would depend on how strong you currently are and what limitations you have. Hard to say without video and an assessment but 2 of our coaches did something similar to you and have written blog posts on what they did. I will link them below, Hope this helps! treadathletics.com/high-velocity-training/ treadathletics.com/gabe/
