Watch now to discover the secrets of boiler purging!
What does our video say:
Purging a boiler heating system is the process of removing excess air that is in the system. When GNC plumbing and heating purges a boiler heating system, we first connect a hose to the purge station and place the other end of the hose so we can dispose of the water. We then isolate a zone and run water through it to push the air out. Then we open the purge station and build up the pressure in the zone to 12 to 15 psi to prevent over pressurizing the system while it seems like you can watch a KZbin video and do this yourself. We strongly recommend having professionals purge your system. Oftentimes older parts break when performing the purge and you need to know how to handle that situation. You could end up costing yourself much more money than you would save by doing it yourself.
