From what I could gather from this video: Anudeep sir talked about how the rameshwaram cafe may be benefitting from the doherty threshold principle( not in absolute sense, of course) because they have the restaurant open from two sides and also the roads are located on these two sides, and thus the nearby people passing by see that there is a lot of hustle and bustle going on in that cafe, where a lot of people are eating and enjoying meals. So, this is like showing the people who have not just visited the cafe, looking at other people having a good experience at the cafe and even they might want to relish the dishes over there. Here are the things that might be getting impacted: 1) Social proof: Since, there is a lot of crowd at the cafe, people passing by might wonder that this might be a good place to eat because a lot of people are eating there( as is the basic human psychology). 2) This Social proofing may lead to more conversions and a lot of other people enter the restaurant and buy food and if it tastes good then spreading the word of mouth to their friends and family, which may lead to increase in daily active customers for the cafe. By all this the business is getting positively affected, while the customers are loving the food (if at all the food is absolutely delicious).

Anudeep, I loved the system status point the most, that users on the road are also engaged and everything going on inside is transparent
