There's another problem...most of the corn in the midwestern United States is specifically designed to produce high fructose corn syrup for sugary sodas. The good news is HFCS per capita consumption rates are falling from the high in 1999 of 17.0kg to 12.3kg per person in 2012. There's another problem...HFCS have trace amounts of mercury. There's another problem...the enticing advertising of the cola companies is more far-reaching and pervasive than data from honest scientific studies. Addictive additives are purposely included into the drink formulae to "hook" consumers. It is not as if these multi-national corporations will sudden change the business plan as the evidence mounts that they are peddling poison. There's another problem...there always is.

Very simple, look at photos of people from the start of 80s and earlier. Notice something; they're almost all thin. There were no gyms, no power drinks no diets, people actually had a problem with gaining weight, why is that? Their foods were high in fat but no processed sugar. They actually used to sell lard in cans, so women could gain weight and be "more attractive". This was the time before they started adding sugar to everything. You want to lose weight and keep it off? The gym isn't going to help, you can never outwork a poor diet. It's simple, stop drinking soda/pop/carbonated drinks, when you go to the grocery 99% of your food should be from the meat, fruit, veg sections, in other words, the perimeter the only thing you should buy from the inside, center of the store are toiletries and water. Throw away your gym membership and eat delicious high-fat foods, do not get fooled by "organic" anything. Do this and you'll lose weight faster and easier than ever before, but if you want to stay fat, miserable and throw money away, then keep your sweets. "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." -3 John 1:2 Even God wants you to be healthy. God bless you all...

I eat a lot of vegetables and lean meats. I do not eat sugary foods, add sugar to my drinks or have soda. I usually drink water and unsweet tea all day. I omitted salt from my diet for a year or so and next thing I know I am 25 pounds heavier in only 4 months. I got hypothyroidism which is just awesome. Especially since I exercised and did not eat outside the house or processed foods. I am pretty sure I have to go to the gym now to get my metabolism back up not eat high fat foods. I also read hypothyroidism causes high cholesterol, I have not had mine tested. I do not eat fried or fatty foods so I just do not think this advice would work for me or everyone. It is unfortunate. I read about people talking about losing weight cutting soda a sugar. I do not even eat that garbage and weight does not drop off (the thyroid thing..) I used to be able to drop 10 pounds in 3 or 4 weeks if I wanted to now it is a grueling slow process. I can only imagine how much sugar these people must be consuming to only have to cut it out of their diets and lose weight.

Sleeping a lot is a sign of addiction, and a sign of to much toxicity not enough alkalinity can certainly cause more health problems beyond your organs but, also in the brain. mary antonellis Okay well she said you can eat and drink soda and other high fructose foods occasionally but she didn't say how much. I found this quite stupid in my opinion. Now high fructose foods are obviously concentrated fructose from plants. So wouldn't eat be logical to leave it where it is supposed to be? In the fruit. In other words fruit has the right amount since we are getting the other nutrients and calories. The video never said give up all sugar entirely. I like the philosphy.
