The Lord is near, the season is now! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! I don’t want to say I had an encounter with an angel but something definitely happened. I remember one night around 1 or 2 in the morning. I was asleep with my stomach to the bed. I had really bad back pain to the point where if I bent over for a a short period it would hurt and it would take a while to get back up. And that was the only position I could sleep in without hurting. My daughter was laying down next to me and she had some sort of infection on her head where the hair would fall off. For whatever reason I felt a need to repent and ask for forgiveness before I went to bed. Then I felt someone grab my shoulder and shake me awake. I woke up and the room was pitch black not your average dark room darkness but absolutely black. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a figure come through the door covered in golden light. I wasn’t scared but for some reason I dared not to look at it. It went over to the side of the bed and felt someone put pressure on my back and after a second I heard wind gushing all over. My ears felt like they popped and heard muffled noises. Then I heard another gust of wind and my daughter flinched from her sleep. The light then walked out the door and the room went dark. I couldn’t believe what just happened, only thing I could do was put my favorite worship song and give thanks to The Lord. Ever since then my back hasn’t hurt one bit and my daughters hair started growing back in within the next couple days. To this day I will never forget it or be able to explain what it was.

You refer to cherubs as angles, which is a common belief, but can you point to a place in the bible where it says that cherubs are a class of angles? I was under the impression that they are a completely different set of beings.

This is a great and interesting conversation. It’s a fascinating subject. My only difference in opinion is in genesis angels went into women to create nephilim. It would seem they are some form of male in whatever context that actually is.

Can you please shed some light on Acts 12:15 when an angel appears to Peter in prison and frees him despite the prison being guarded. Peter goes to Mary’s house where a prayer meeting is in progress and knocks on the door which is opened by Rhoda. She tells the others and their response is: 15 “You’re out of your mind,” they told her. When she kept insisting that it was so, they said, “It must be his angel.” Do we have angels? What does this mean? I’ve always wondered and would love to know. Thank you.

Intriguing topic this. I hope in your series you shall go into Rev and the letters to the ‘angels of the church’s’ From my study it can’t mean the Pastors or Bishops which was an overseer. We can’t change the meaning of words. It throws Theology off True N. Please explain : 1). If the Lord Jesus Christ had meant the Pastor in those letters @ 2:1, 8, 12, 18. 3:1, 7, 14 then the Holy Spirit would have used G1985 2). G1985 is used only 5 times in the NT. Always in ref to the Office of Overseer. Never regarding a messenger of any kind. 3). The Holy Spirit used G32 which has been used in the NT 186 times always in reference to Angelic messenger. *never* even *implied* as The Overseers Office. 4). 102 times it was used in the NT prior to John’s vision of The Revelation. 5). The remaining 84 times (close to half) are in The Revelation So one might ask ‘how did we ever get the idea that it is the Pastor?’ Which is the incorrect word to use anyway. Pastor means shepherd and is listed as different from a Teacher. Eph 4:11 Here we see Jesus gave both G4166 Shepherds *and* G1320 Teachers. How can we land on the Interpretation of “Pastor or Teacher” or Overseer which is an administrative office? Why would the Lord tell an Angel to repent if the letters seem to be to an Angelic Messenger?

Angels are messengers of God, but the Holy Spirit, who is God is the active force against all evil for true believers in Christ Jesus, as we are indwelled with the Holy Spirit. Angels are watching us to learn how we choose to be obedient and faithful to our Heavenly Father or to reject Him. We must not elevate Angels or give any glory to them as Jesus said we will be like them when we receive our eternal resurrected bodies, and in the book of Revelation, an angel corrected John for falling down in front of him. Jesus is everything we need, and it’s His Holy Spirit who does all things in our lives, not Angels. Praise Jesus. And resist the evil one who wants to elevate Angels and take the glory away from Jesus. Peace and Maranatha.

Need some help. Trying to find some information on the presence of porcelain angel decorations, as most of them are not biblically accurate. My mother collects porcelain angel figurines, and every time I see them, I am convicted to say something about them. I am not completely sure why I feel this way, as I have grown up believing they are accurate representations of angels, but in recent biblical and historical study, I have found that they are derrived from catholic and blasphemous origins. Any thoughts?

THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins he shedded his blood for you. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by his stripes we are healed. Christ Jesus took the punishment we 100% deserved He died on the cross shedding his blood for you and he (Christ Jesus) was buried and here is the best part he(Christ Jesus)rose from the grave 3 days later defeating death and proved that everything that he(Christ Jesus) said was true and Christ Jesus ascended up to Heaven and is now at the right hand of the father. The Gospel for the New Testament Church is 1 Cor. 15: 1-4 KJV and Rom. 3: 25 KJV explains it even further. It's what Christ Jesus did for us that we're saved and it's by faith alone, not works. We're forgiven for all sins by Christ's shed blood. According to the Bible unlike what other Christians be teaching , salvation is by receiving (BY FAITH!!) what Christ Jesus DID on the cross at Calvary, when HE(Christ Jesus) shed his BLOOD to pay for the sins of man. HIS FINISHED WORK, done ONCE AND FOR ALL, is the ONLY THING that can save a Sinner and give him forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Notice that the Gospel is what JESUS DID FOR MAN, and not what MAN CAN DO FOR GOD! A person is only saved by BELIEVING in the finished work of Jesus Christ, when he shed his Precious Blood for our sins. This blood atonement was necessary, for without shedding of blood, there is no remission (Heb. 9:22). God has always demanded blood for sin. WITHOUT SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO REMISSION OF SINS!! In the Old Testament, God accepted the blood of a lamb. In the New Testament, God accepts the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the LAMB OF GOD, slain for your sins.
