I'm new at watching utube videos. I've enjoyed you so much and several other of your friends, but especially drawn to you and this is just what I needed tonight. I've been a follower of Christ for 62 years. Having just had Covid while at our home in FL this past week and was driving home to MI, I'm with my husband who had to be admitted to an out-of-state hospital for complications he's experiencing from covid, mainly cognitive impairment that continues. I have been praying for his healing and trying to help him as much as possible. I realize I need to take better care of myself by spending more time in His word, instead of watching TV and worrying about what's in the future. Thank you for your love for Jesus and your boldness to share the truth. I know He has a plan and He is with me. I needed a reminder.

Love this heart-chat, Sarah. Being rooted & grounded in God’s Word and following the example of resting and peace-seeking that Christ Jesus walked out while here on earth is so vital. It’s difficult to renew our minds daily if we are constantly filling it willingly with thousands of images, thoughts, ads, etc... I closed my influencer account for a few reasons, but the main reason was I was praying for peace while I frantically ran to stores for that one thing to add to my home so I could post at just the right time, then like and comment on others etc... The Lord opened my eyes that if I desired peace, I would have to let that go. I have no regrets. My life is so much more peaceful now, and I have more time to give to those Christ has put into my in-person life. 💗

Thanks for this share. I found it balanced and encouraging. It’s so easy to take any buzzword and run with it in a weird direction, throwing it totally out or embracing it fully and mindlessly until we find ourselves all the way down a slippery slope. Biblical Self-Care has become to me very closely connected to my personal accountability and self-control and daily checking to be sure I am resting weekly, filling myself up with the goodness of God in all sorts of ways and keeping my mind on the beauty of his creation in all its forms, so that I have good things to share. Nobody can do that but me and when I neglected these things in my life, it made me very uninspiring to be around me.

Thank you Sara, I've been roaming KZbin to help me understand (Biblically) that self-care is not selfish and decluttering. I came upon this clip/video from 2 yrs ago, "What Does the Bible Say About Self Care/ Self Care from a Biblical Perspective" I've been neglecting both of these subjects.😢 Let me tell you that I really enjoyed it! Thank you Clara👩🦳

Father God, thank you for renewing our minds daily! I think I should care a little bit more about my own appearance than I do now, binding to hell not caring enough or caring too much about being fit, tight and well-dressed while binding one to care enough about being fit, tight and well-dressed in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone not caring enough or too much about being fit, tight and well-dressed, in accordance with this word and ephesians 5:29-30, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

🙏Let Us Pray: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name teach the writer of this prayer and myself how to take care of ourselves physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, financially, and relationally for Your glory God. And bless each of us with the wisdom, desire, strength, and follow-through to do so. Because we need to be healthy physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, relationally, and financially to take care of all that You have called each of us to do. I think non-Christian’s have a hard time understanding biblical self-care since its foundation not because you value yourself but rather derive value and purpose from God. But then how do you define co-dependency if it’s not caring for yourself because you’re more useful to someone else?

Hi Sarah! What does the Bible say about emotional self-care? As christians, do we always have to give 100% of our time and effort for others?
@GraceInMySpace Жыл бұрын
The emotional self care comes in with our quiet time. That is restorative time to build us up in the Lord, which flows into all other areas. It sounds like your question may be getting into boundaries and healthy relationships, which is different than self care, in my opinion. There is a place for setting healthy boundaries but that’s a whole other topic ☺️❤️❤️

I pray you find a true family of believers. Jesus always comes with compassion and love to those being harassed by the evil one. I rebuke the spirit of suicide, heaviness, and depression if your life in Jesus name. Come Holy Spirit and dwell in them they may never thirst again, and that rivers of living waters will flow from their life. From my husband: I see an artist in you. A person who creates and builds beauty where it didn’t exist before. May you be blessed today. Keep holding on to Jesus. ❤️

I don't like the culture sometimes in churches where they never stop serving and ministry. Sometimes when you rest people think your not spiritual enough or doing enough for The Kingdom. Its thought highly of when women are doing lots and resting is looked down on. Makes blunt Christians, mot iron sharpens iron people
