I wonder why the Black Rose would kill Mel's brother, and what he/Ambessa did to offend them. Black Rose amassing weapons is one thing--getting revenge on the Medarda's is another.

The Black Rose wants Mel as her father is one of their mages. However they kidnap the wrong kid (Kino), and offer an exchange for Mel. Ambessa refuses (sacrificing one child to save the another), Kino dies.

Thanks for the video. That was my theory for why they kidnapped Mel, but I didn't know exactly who were the Black Rose and what they want with Ambessa because I never played LOL. Can't wait to see more in the next episodes!

Black rose is a secret guild of ambessa'a country noxius. My theory is that they want to kidnap mel because shes the daughter of ambessa and they want a bargaining chip (ambessa said shes safer/better as an enemy)

Hextech is basically magic for all not just for those who are "gifted". So if you can imagine how the rune wars were like with just those with the "gifted" it is going to be atleast 10x worse if everyone gets to have hextech weapons. Its like everyone has a nuke even the most common man. It could probably end life in runeterra even without the celestials, darkins, ascended, and non-human like creatures involvement. Imagine earth but all nations have nukes.

But then why wouldn't the Black Rose just openly cooperate with Ambessa? Ambessa is in Piltover to assimilate it into her field of power and gain unrestricted access to Hextech and Hextech weapons. If that's what the Black Rose is after, all they'd have to do is make sure Ambessa succeeds. They're clearly very much against her though. Anyone know the story there?

We are assuming she stole something that will help them contain Mordakesier, or maybe her son did. Or she is being squeezed by two factions, one is the black rose and for some reason the "man" her son crossed is possibly Swain. We shall find out!

Ambessa wants total control & power. Leblanc also wants total control & power. They are obviously not the types willing to share. It is also much easier to steal a weapon before it gets in the hands of a very powerful opponent like Ambessa. But yeah it seems like the Medardas stole something from Leblanc first

No keeping mordekaiser locked up is their main objective. They aim to harness power to tackle mordekaiser if he ever escapes. That’s why this new hextech thing caught their attention
