he fought hard to claw optic gaming back from immortal only for the CDL to force a turnover of a large portion of optic to envy for league approval, in my opinion he's justified for being as upset as he is, the return of entry fees doesn't return the portion of optic that has been turned over to envy, the CDL update makes me question if optic and envy will split up if able and if teams do join the CDL how are they supposed to be competitive as the top teams don't seem to be changing

When H3CZ got OpTic back from immortal, NRG is gone, and the league wouldn't allow him to participate without a corporate backing. He sold ownership of his company and had to merge with Envy to get back in.

Formal's one of those guys that just listens, and rarely speaks... But then talks when he has a question or input on something, often tends to talk over whoever is talking, but they shut up knowing that he's talking and you should probably listen because he wont repeat himself and what he is saying is 99% important input. They never get mad that he talked over them though, because they know that his input was needed, valuable to the conversation, can continue the conversation/ pivot it to a new direction to talk more (ie: when he mentioned map names)

The whole article seems like a "sorry optic, please end the lawsuit" plea. They talk about viewership records like they played any part in it, lets talk about viewership records this season with their restrictions and switching platforms when the viewership was only growing. We went from having 4 streams simultaneously streaming matches friday-sunday to now having 6 games a week. We cant route for our favourite AM players or AM upsets because they dont make pool play and teams can win 4 matches for a champs ring. The whole league is a mess, The open bracket pool play system we had before needs to return.

The biggest thing holding back mw3 is the spawns, even with these dog water maps the really bad part is how unpredictable the spawns are, the maps themselves now are like… fine. Invasion and highrise control gotta go, highrise search aswell ideally, we just need like 2 more really good maps and the pool would be perfect, but I still stand on the biggest flaw of this game being the spawns. The gunplay is like.. fine. But the mechanics are godlike.
