To Nazam What I would like to point out is that The Quran Verses that speak about Jesus are interpreted based on the knowledge available at the time of the reader. So in the Prophets time there were NO Biblical Christian Scholars that commented on these Verses. Then as Different Christians became Muslim they brought their own ideas with them. And as long as their ideas were NOT going against the Quran they were allowed to still believe in them. But today we do have Muslims studying the Bible and learning information about what different Scripture (Canonical and Non Canonical) say about what happened to Jesus. And we have Information that was not brought out for public usage such as there being TWO Jesus' at the Trial of Jesus! And this should be taken into consideration today. I will continue InshaAllah later. And I think that the TWO Jesus' prove without a doubt the Quranic Verses.

To Nazam It is obvious that Quran 3:55 Allah AwJ says "I" (Allah) will cause You (Isa/Jesus) to DIE. Just like Allah Causes everyone else to Die. And that He will Exalt/Raise Him. The issue Christians are trying to confuse is The TIME that this Dying will happen! They want to insinuate that the Quran is WRONG on the Method of Jesus Death because the Quran acknowledges that Jesus "DIED"! Because they try to have the Quran correlate with their Bible. Because in the Bible Jesus' death has multiple causes. 1) First cause is that God has ORDAINED that Jesus WILL DIE. in other words It IS GOD who cause Jesus' Death (resembling the Qranic Ayat). 2) Jesus Himself lays down His own LIFE. Meaning that somehow Jesus is the Cause of His own Death (If He did not want to it would Not have happened). 3) The Jews Crucified Him. The Scribes and Pharisees. 4) The Romans Crucified Him. 5) And Finally every Human being was the Cause of Him being Crucified Because, everyone is a SINNER. And the ONLY way to be redeemed is by Blood Sacrifice. Isn't it Glorious and Amazing that Allah AwJ REMOVES the Slander and all these accusations that are placed on Humanity with just ONE VERSE?!!! SUBHANALLAH!

I agree with Dr Shabir Ally until his conclusions on this topic... He is also reading his interpretation in the quran. The quran just says they did not kill Jesus and they did not kill him by crucifixion. So how can Dr Ally come to the theory that he went on the cross but did not die ?? I think Dr Ally just has to stay with his translation which is correct and should not try to explain any further. They did not kill him nore they did kill him by crucifixion. That's all.. anything else is just pure speculation...

You're forgetting the part where Isa's crucifixion in the quran was "made to appear" as if he died. How can a crucifixion appear like one without a body on the cross?
