Thank you Corey for adding the Humming bird scale, I'd never heard of it. I'm 20% looking at the scale, it's shocked me a bit. Maybe someday I'm 30%. I can't work a job anymore, everything I do has a pacing aspect to it such as washing, a household task, having visitors etc. I'm ok but feel a little upset but I'm glad I read it as I know I'm getting a bit worse and I will address this now and adjust my daily living. Wow eh Corey, this is just awful. I'm 57 and my hubby is my rock, sounds like your hubby is too. I'm so grateful for my family. X

@@irenes6627 I'm glad your husband is really there for you (mine too, yes). That makes all the difference in the world. A supportive family is everything.

I am severe and getting worse. Thank you for making this video. I had started making plans for one, but I'm too sick now. I hope you are doing ok. ❤

So sorry to hear you are declining. Wishing you all the luck in reversing that! I'm doing pretty well, though my POTs is maybe more of a problem some days.

I don't know where I would be on the scale. Probably moderate, I'm housebound most of the time, living like a mouse in a box with a wheel. I love crafting but this can make me crash. Today I had a terrible episode of fatigue where my heart was racing, nausea and generally feeling flu like. It was awful. X

Would you be able to do some parenting videos? I have a 2 year old.

I was very fortunate that my daughter was 9 when I got severe, which was old enough to understand what was going on. Two is such a difficult age for this to happen! I'm so sorry! I'll try to do a video on parenting with ME/CFS, but it may not apply enough to you. I will ask around. I think the biggest thing is making sure you have full time childcare and your role is connecting and doing gentle, low impact things as you can to connect with your child and show them you love them.

@@corey-me-cfs Thank you, I appreciate that. I also liked what you said about letting emotions wash over you. I need help with that… do you use any particular way of thinking/philosophy to achieve this? Like stoicism?

@@XXO-Rosie I (as a History of Religions Major) think Buddhism is really good at this particular form of thinking and meditation.
