This guy has so much potential. Possible Argentina International in the making will help having emi and emi in the team to help him settle. Definitely a player profile we need to either play alongside or rotate with kamara. Give it 2-3 years and he will be a 60mil player. Utv

He'd be rotation with Kamara. He's very much a defensive midfielder, winning the ball back. Along side Kamara wouldn't leave enough for moving it forward effectively. I'd normally suggest that by his age He'd be an international if he were going to be but he's had to have a loan to get any club recognition. And Argentina are notorious for not putting players in at young ages unless they're very special. Playing with the very influential Emi Martinez will help him as well. So yeah he may end up being another International.

I hope all the things I’m seeing about his potential are true because if they are like you say we could have a really gem on our hands and potentially a great big of FFP business if we can sell him for a lot of money soon 👀🤔 I think he’s too similar to play with Kamara but finally gives us a good sub / rotation option at DM!

Conductor may be a strong word. I think that may make fans think he's a Georginho or a Kroos. Hes much more a Kamara than a Luiz. His ball recovery is insanely good, so from the point of view that he'll win the ball and then move it straight away it makes sense. It's just that common use for that word in football invokes certain ideas. We'll still need a Luiz replacement (unless Barkley is genuinely seen as the answer). Barrenechea is exciting because he is at least cover for Kamara. Kamara will be out for a while so hopefully he comes back finding he cannot get into the team easily because Barrenechea is so good.

I think looking at his stats across the board it strikes me as his playing style! Don’t get me wrong the jump from doing it for a struggling Seire A team to a Champions League premier league team isn’t going to be easy by any stretch! Nah can’t see Barkley being seen as the answer, I think one more marquee central midfield signing is incoming, I think we will start to see some really exciting links come July 👀

I really like this kid, I think he could be able to play right back or an inverted fullback. The Argentina national team needs a strong right back cause that their weak point and Enzo is a really good passer/crosser, has good Ariel ability and has amazing tackles and interceptions. He could be something like kimmich

some quick words from a Juventino Barrenechea with the ball plays very simple, tidy and mostly safe passes he is also calm on the ball his strength is his ball recovery and tackling, though he is still quite inexperienced i mean that his first full season in the top division

Hello my friend! Thank you for the comment! It does seem he is very much a conductor of the game from DM, simple passes, keeping possession after winning it back and calming the game down to start new phases of play! How do you think he will fair in the Prem?

@@LetsTalkVilla It's hard for me to imagine him being a instant starter, add to that the faster pace of the game in the prem and he could struggle to adjust BUT: Frosinone was a side that played really nice and fast football, different from the traditional style in italy i think he'll benefit from that and the better players around him the potential is there, he could just be a late bloomer that needed that loan

The problem with the stats is it doesn't tell you how many forward passes were done its the same with torres he did a lot more side and back passes which anyone can do. Its also a big step up playing in the premier league as better players than him have struggled in this league and i wish him well and welcome.

Tbf, it doesn't really matter. He's very much a destructive player rather than to be a conductor. His tackling is insane. A lot of those passes are simply after winning the ball. So in a way he is starting play off but not many players are making tackles and themselves pinging it to forward players.

He has a good ratio of moving the ball and controlling the tempo of games however I would agree he is defensive minded for sure!

@@LetsTalkVilla I'm not one of those that thinks that uni walks on water and does nothing wrong, I e followed villa for a very long time and was there when we won the league I just feel that his only plan he has is buy buy buy instead of developing kids which we have done for a long time but it seems he has shut the door on this method because he hasn't bought anyone through.

Barrenchea, Illing, Dobbin, Rogers, Maatsen are all young. Add Sousa and Nedeljkovic and we're clearly building for the future. Our bench will be pretty impressive

Enzo is highly rated, I know Juve fans didn't want him to leave. He's the most similar player to Kamara- we really missed Kamara. He'll take time to settle, but I trust Unai and Monchi. Kid is decent.

It actually is really nice knowing that if Kamara were to get injured or struggle to get back to pace after such a horrible knee injury we have a ready made replacement ready to go and not have to shoe horn players in like we did last year!

@@LetsTalkVilla yes off course they can but they can also turn out bad it's a risky deal and I feel Villa could have gotten more for Luiz from other clubs in cash ! There are also other players they could have sold before Luiz you don't sell one of your best players well big clubs don't do that Villa is known for selling their best !! I'm not happy at all for this !
