The problem with this message is the translation into the Latin (which was not mentioned) - with attempts to keep it as accurate and true to pronunciation as possible - is Jehovah; pronounced, in Classical Latin, "Ye'ho-wah" or, Ecclesiastical, "Ye'ho-vah". Thusly, Anglicised, "Je'ho-vah". His name is made from the letters, יהוה (Yud, Hey, Vav (or, Wav), Hey) and their sound in pronunciation. (Note: There is still debate between scholars as to whether the third letter (from the right) is Vav or Wav (the "a" in both instances pronounced as the "a" in "ahh").) The change in pronunciation has nothing to do with languages changing, but more translation from one language to another to another and usage - from Priests and Rabbi to the most common of person. God knows His name and whether you pronounce it correctly or not He will hear - as He looks on the Heart of man!. If this were not the case, then calling on Jesus (G'ee-sus in English or Hey'-soos in Spanish) or any other pronunciation in any other foreign, non-Hebrew tongue instead of Yeshuah, would mean NONE have received salvation and no prayers heard over the past two millennia!

If you build your wife something like a table and after you finished it, it was not like you want it to be, so you dismantle it, chop it into pieces and build something different. Now come the question, are the wood in any position to claim that you as the creator that you aren't allowed to destruct it? No, not at all, for you can do anything with your creation as you are pleased. The same goes for God, He can destroy His creation if He wants to, He can make them suffer financially or with sickness and and and, who the heck are we to Tell Him that He is not allowed to do it or that He is morally wrong with what He is doing. Therefore the Bible teach us that by grace we are saved and not of our good works or whatever, and that we must accept it whether we like it or not. But while we was yet sinners, He loved us that much that He died for us, and that makes the difference, the moment we understand that and accept Him as our Creator, earthly possessions and bodily ailments don't even comes to mind.
