You are doing really well for this time of year. It's hard when Mum's come to visit. I had mine for a week last week and put 3 lbs on, so congrats to you. Over all, you're still half a pound down, so celebrate that. Hope you have a great week. All the best, Shell X

Yes I think it's a good idea, it worked for you a couple of weeks ago, tbh I'm on SW, I think I might try the mixture if noth, I'm stuck at the moment, up and down , good luck for next week xx

4 weeks today is Christmas Day 😲 I can't believe it's so close. I have got the winter lurgy to contend with unfortunately 🤧. I do like a gin or two. I can understand what you have been doing to try your best to keep on plan and it obviously worked well for you, well done you 🎉. My weight loss is extremely slow but when I get a wobble I have to keep going or I will regain everything I've lost so far and more. I'm taking a week at a time because I had a 1.5 gain last week and I was feeling miserable. When I feel that way I usually continue and end up carrying on the bad habits. My consultant said when you leave here, draw a line and do a restart and I have, I will find out the results tomorrow evening. I have been told that if you've had a loss on a bad week it can then catch up on you the following week. I've been where you are and I look at the suggested serving portions on the pasta packets ect and go by that. It's a blip so keep on going and see what happens. It is what works for you, all you are doing is SW with mindful portions. We have to live whilst on a weight loss plan and when we're at target. Be mindful that's all you can do. I hope you have a good week but whatever happens on the scales next week just keep chipping away. Kind regards Angeline ❤️ xx

Hi Andrea, I think it's a very good idea to do both. Slimming world is great for people with small appetites but I'm not so sure it works on its own for people with bigger appetites. I think it's a great idea to calorie count alongside as it'll keep you eating healthily without going overboard on portions. Best of luck for the week ahead. You've got this 💪💪❤❤

Aww I do feel for you Andrea. One thing I would keep my eye on would be my Pasta and Rice, even though their “free food” there is a recommended amount which I believe is 75-80gm per serving. That’s the only thing I can think of that may be slowing you down. Christmas is nearly knocking on the door and it’s so easy and completely normal to have nice things, you’ve got children they don’t want to hear no I can’t eat that, too many syns/calories. I’m completely with you about wanting to be healthy, slimmer and generally feel better. I’ve never lost weight as slow as I have since joining SW, it’s a marathon not a sprint. You do what’s best for you and don’t pressurise yourself. Take care love xx 😘

I go slimming world group and i calories count, but i do count sins , im with you 😊

I Lost 5lb today I not been well and on star week. In this one year I Lost 4 stone , 10 pound , good luck fir your next weigh in

Andrea you will have a weight loss next week i my self have lost 6 stone with slimming world and some weeks i was really good and but on but i just wanted with it and lost the next week good luck love Marie ❤️

It will come off. It's taken me 4 months to lose 20lbs. Rather than be grumpy about the time it takes, I celebrate what I have achieved.

Sometimes if you’ve eaten extra syns very close to weigh day, they don’t show on the scales that week but show the following week. I think that’s where the small gain came from. It would have been higher but you stuck to plan so you kind of offset it. You do what helps you, but don’t make it too tedious for you to stick to. Maybe one week you could find out what “one portion” of anything like pasta is, and just weigh it when you dish it up rather than counting absolutely everything. Fingers crossed for you for next week. Px

Hi Andrea. Love your videos. I think it’s a good idea. It may be a long shot but I struggle with losses due to shift patterns and work. Do you work nights? I have noticed when I work night shifts I don’t lose much that week or sometimes even gain. I have switched to taking snacks to work on nights instead of a full meal and it seems to help.

Thank you 😘 Not regularly I don't work nights, only if I pick up a bank shift. Hate working nights, so they're very few and far between, ha ha xx
