This week is action packed as we spend a few days enjoying some new water-sports and friends at The Blue Lagoon in Croatia before sailing to the island of Solta, where we explore a cute little town and then sail on to a better anchorage for the incoming storm....
Soon after arriving we realise we sailed the the wrong anchorage and it is in-fact forbidden to anchor there!!

I'm and old guy that still loves sailing, The last boat I owned was a 40 foot Beneteau and we had it in Anancortes Wa. Saile it in the San Juan islands. I watched your trip with friend before this and wish I had done that at your age. To much fun. Enjoy your trip.

Those sea bob things look like fun. I reminds me of a TV show, Sea Hunt, where I first saw something like that for Navy Seals. I'm surprised the little lazer thing was new to you. That sort of wet ass sailing is how I learned the rudiments. After seeing Manly I never thought Aussies were prudish at all.

He started to catch loads coming down the coast of Italy and back in Greece Hahaha honestly they basically did I had to hold on tight 😂 you really need a one piece swimsuit or a wetsuit to use them without worrying about that 😂😂

They’re electric, I think it takes a bit of power to charge them up so you definitely want to have loads of solar/generator on board 😅 Hahah it actually was exactly like that, not that I’ve been lucky enough to ride a dolphin or anything but it really is crazy, I didn’t even go at full speed because it pulls back on your face skin a bit but Jase did 🤣

You may not no it but pelagic fish love the eddies that come from your keel. A good placement is where you wake comes to a tip 7 kind of melts a way. In the last bubbles if you like. Catch the fish & please turn of the rachet. I'm watching cruisers f----ing the gear by not doing this. And adjust your drag accordingly. And always set the hook.

Line is way too far out. Fish are attracted to the boat so lure should be near so they find it. Maybe 10 m to max length of boat.

Haha yeah I actually cut out some of thr conversation from that because it went for too long and didn’t want to bore everyone but I went on to say extra virgin olive oil is healthy for you ingested fresh as is, but not heated past a certain temperature which I would say we would’ve exceeded 😳

Most advice I follow comes from those chickens who have a better track record than I, do and who have done a lot of both practical and theoretical studies and research. I'm kind of keen on sticking to whole foods ... food that still has all its other components. I still eat a bit of oil. Food habits are tough to get away from.

Yeah I agree Aswell, although Greek’s and Italians loveee their olive oil and there’s actually an island in Greece who has the oldest people in the world on it, and 1 in 3 people live past the age of 90 😮 it’s called ikaria, we visited there on our travels through Greece last year although not for long enough. But I do try not to have too much oil, even if it is extra virgin olive oil 🤭
