► 1:58 An individual was placed on a Temporary Layoff for 6 weeks by his employer during a slow time of year. When the employee checked in 6 weeks later, the employer said there still wasn't any work available, and directed them to check back in another 6 weeks. What are my rights during a temporary layoff? Lior explains that a temporary layoff is actually a termination of employment.

The owners say there is nothing they can do.

I work for spirit AeroSystems and at midnight Friday the 23 our contract was up the 24 we go on strike. But the 21st the company turns all workers badges off and halts production. While we are still under contract. Yes they paid us until Friday the 24th but to me they have to give us notice if they perform lockout on us. And to me they can’t lock us out until midnight Friday 23. The company knows we didn’t agree with the new contract they offered so we voted to no to the contract and yes to strike on our new contract.

Never sign anything from your employer or Union or Insurance company . They play a game to bamboozle and trick you out of your rights and infringe upon them. Always make decisions with a lawyer on your side. The Union lawyer is not on your side.

The big picture and most overlooked & costly is the investigation,, hiring a suppeona company to suppeona records phone notebook email documents or erase lost electronic records data recording communications faxes etc,, with that is getting and interrogating the person's doing the wrong to confess or admit , or getting each of them to turn on each other using them as witnesses or getting witnesses

Wow, I'm listening to this as a citizen of the USA and astonished at how well Canadians treat their employees (by law). Long story short, I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 31 and had to take a leave of 8 months to recover. I was immediately fired the day my physician authorized me to return to work. Never mind the cost of treatment (tens of thousands of dollars and that is the co-pays while insurance covered the rest of the 6 figure bill), but then COBRA right after that (about 1,500 per month for family coverage), and no job to have any income to cover my family. USA health insurance is nearly always sponsored by an employer. IF you get sick on the employers' watch, that 'health insurance umbrella' will melt in the rain. I'd have to estimate that the majority of people with serious health problems are poor as dirt in the USA, because, well, they deserve it (according to Trump and his worshipper sycophants). Ugly as hell system we have here IMO.

When you are part of a union it is the union that protects you. If your union is weak then you are in trouble as you have given up rights to be part of the union.

Don't blame Samfiru . It's the way the Law was written. You still have some rights. Talk to a Human Rights Lawyer instead and consider a DFR call implant with your local shitty Labour Boards.

I would like everyone's advice on this. I work as cashier for b&m stores. I was badly verbally abused by my manger and ill treated. I know my challenge 25 and when a customer turns up at my till with no id and underage... I refused the sale as they were underage... I did nothing wrong...but my supervisor went and told my manger ive had a serious incident...and to my horror my manager pulled me aside and began shouting at me....he was not listening to me :-( in done this abruse before on my first few weeks at work where the area manager arranged a meeting... and my manger then apologised. Coming to here and now, I reported the incident to HR and sent my witness statement too alongside the mangers ill treatment to me and other staff too. He also called his hard working staff retards this hurts me so much as the staff work very hard.... and are not retards:-( I have been waiting for HR to contact me and resolved my issue.. instead my letter was passed down to a team leader and no mangers.... this team woman calls me and tried to put words into my mouth to my horror and said i gave in my notice in and told my manger I'm leaving the b&m store. I never gave any written statement or verbally. In my 9 letter page plus and statement I not once wrote about my termination of my contract or mentioned it at all...instead been pleading with them to resolve my issue as the manager has a bad behaviour and reeks of heavy alcohol at work. I have tried to find the directors details to email all letters and the email dialogue from HR today to tell them what's HR has done and my store mangers... I feel betrayed HRhave covered it up consideringi also sent a witness satement too... I am 55 year old and never had an experience such as this its left me mortified. I am very genuine and a lightworker... I heal people and gifted from birth i see people setiny on their their as well as voice writings.... and to experience evil people is a eye opener. Beautiful souls who reads this please give me advice what further I can do. B&M HR have terminated my contractwithout my consent and no reason as to why and have listened to the lies of a branch manager with jeckle and hyde traits...taking into note I did nothing wrong... its was a no id no sale... I couldn't tell acholol to underage but got punished instead of being praised for not selling to underage. He's shouts at you infront of everyone...its very humiliating. He has behaviour problems... I have won star performer certificates twice and shocking how HR covered it sll up and silent on my witness statement too..... the crazy part is I never dud anything wrong... hr cannot just fobbed off employees and support toxic bosses ..

First get you a ein # for common law worker under the contract law when signature any agreements of any kind must put all remedies & rights reserved without recourse. Irs paper work ,,Your employer does business with govt agencies making you a servant or slave, if they are in a stock market their involve in politics if they do business with medical pharmasutecals, Google , media of anytype , these companies are under no flight risk untouchable, but it's sometimes better just to file unemployment within 1 week after you take all days off paid n unemployment, if you catch what's going ahead time, and get vacation time paid then next following week file unemployment ,, get a settlement decent settlements $8000-22,000...better to avoid time money corruption & litigation, common law vs statuetory law vs constitution law ,,,yes never clock out and look at the your login website print documents or take pictures then make contacts thru them in email same day to confirm,,I would take days off with pay n make complaints thats retaliation ,. But if they take you out of the system badge that is retaliation,,

Georgia Department of Labor has neglected to acknowledge qualified PUA applicants. 10's of thousands have received no Unemployment at all. In my case, they refused to acknowledge my first application date. They are returning false income information. It has been 9 months and I haven't received a dime.

Employers should not use retaliatory measures, spread falsehoods and go as far as defaming anyone's character. Employers are only supposed to say whether the person worked for them or not. In addition, employers are obligated to let the employee know they decided to terminate their employment, prior to spreading false claims because the employee was advised to seek remedy with the Department Of Labor. I was not in DC yesterday. Google is not my first choice of Search Engines. Neither is Bing. I applied for other jobs. I don't want to be lumped into a false narrative based on abject LIES that fits into someone else's futuristic agenda that is antithetical to what I believe is God's plan for my life. That being said: I never met Hunter Biden, have not been in New York since 2018 (one time in early 2018), In addition: This is neither a solicitation nor an invitation, this Is the truth. I am and have been completely abstinent for almost eight years here in Philadelphia PA USA.05-22-2016 (later) to 06-13-2024-06-14-2024 (over 419 weeks)so far, unless you include leap years) through September 8 so far or whenever this stops. My eldest son (who is diagnosed with a disability) is still a virgin (to my absolute very best knowledge), and my youngest son is married and had a baby girl with his wife. 05-23-2016 (while I was running for Congress)-06-13-2024 to 06-14-2024, nor do we have STI's or STD's, no Cancer, no COVID-19, not LGBTQIA and do not have sex, nor have been sexually active in years, and no longer have a menstrual cycle. I was a virgin when I went to college, and was at home praying on September 11th as well as election days (normally). I am now 55 years old. I have not gotten my paycheck in almost 60 weeks. I am obviously not pregnant. God is still Awesome! My Mammogram was negative again. No Cancer no COVID-19. I passed all of my courses required for my MD in addition to becoming a member of the American Bar Association. I was a 17 year old virgin when I went to FAMU. I have had years in between where I didn't mess around at all, like when my sons and I lived in Georgia, and afterwards during my second 40 day fast, when my ex husband went away into the military, during my pregnancy, every day of 2012 and most of 2013, and more time than not in between.
