The thing about ATM. What exactly is the issue? Can u please tell me if Euro is accepted or they prefer Forint. Are cards accepted commonly??
@lifespaceapartments
@lifespaceapartments 3 жыл бұрын
@@aashli9383 Hi there! The ATM mentioned in the video charges high fees for conversion and withdrawal. Forint is the official currency, euro is rarely accepted. Where they accept euro, the conversion rate is not that good. You can pay with card in most places except for smaller shops and market halls.

as a hungarian, i personally view indian food as way too much spices blocks my taste buds i cant taste anything(not the hot part thats fine), and its funny how they say our food is bland i think its what you grow up with you get used to it, when i make indian food i usualy read recipe 1tbs of koriander powder alright i put 1 teaspoon instead :D

Budapest is a city known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and delicious cuisine. Let's explore some local Hungarian dishes and treats. Goulash (Gulyás): Start your culinary journey with a classic Hungarian dish - Goulash. This hearty soup/stew typically consists of meat (often beef), vegetables, and paprika, creating a flavorful and comforting meal. Langos: A popular street food in Hungary, Langos is deep-fried flatbread usually topped with sour cream, garlic, and cheese. It's a savory treat that's both delicious and indulgent. Chimney Cake (Kürtőskalács): For dessert, try Kürtőskalács, a sweet, spiral-shaped pastry. It's made from sweet dough, rolled in sugar and other toppings, then baked until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Fisherman's Soup (Halászlé): Since Budapest is situated along the Danube River, don't miss the opportunity to try Fisherman's Soup. It's a spicy fish soup with a rich broth, often featuring various freshwater fish. Töltött Káposzta (Stuffed Cabbage): Experience the flavors of traditional Hungarian comfort food with Töltött Káposzta. It consists of cabbage leaves stuffed with a mixture of meat, rice, and spices, then simmered to perfection. Rakott Krumpli: This is a layered potato casserole with eggs, sausage, and sour cream. It's a hearty and satisfying dish that showcases the influence of different cultures on Hungarian cuisine. Dobos Torte: Finish your meal with a slice of Dobos Torte, a famous Hungarian layer cake. It consists of sponge cake layers with chocolate buttercream and a crunchy caramel top layer. Hungarian Wines: Pair your meals with some Hungarian wines, as the country has a rich tradition of winemaking. Tokaj is particularly renowned for its sweet wines. I hope you enjoy these culinary delights in Budapest!

I am leaving in Australia and some time ago worked with 4 girls from India. They spoke 4 different languages, so they did not understand each other exept in english. Then I worked with another indian girl and she said there are at least 24 written languages in India. India is a sub-continent, so I think it is normal. Anyway she was so cute (my college) but this beauty on this video looks more like a north thailand girl. 😊 Which is not bad at all... ☺

I’m Hungarian and what I am hearing from expats living in Hungary is that the one thing that definitely needs improvement is the healthcare system. And I completely agree with that. The hospitals are run down and look more like homeless shelters. They are underfunded and there is a huge shortage of doctors and nurses. Most of them move abroad where they have better salaries and better conditions. Many international students are saying that if the healthcare was better then they would more likely stay in Hungary after their studies. Other than that every expat and student I know loves living in Hungary.

I am Hungarian and I like decent language and despise cursing. It is true unfortunately that rude exressions are often used by many here - but not by everyone, believe me. This is a homeland cultural and moral problem for many Hungarians, too.

My understanding of Expats visiting Hungary are those Hungarians who are returning to Hungary from other countries. According to my knowledge this term is used by Australians, Americans and English. To them Expats are their brothers and kin returning to the Mother land after many years being absent from their own country.
@lifespaceapartments

Yes, you are correct! Thank you for being observant! Expats are people who live outside of their native country. Which makes foreigners in Hungary also expats to their own country, right? :)

I'm Hungarian. One of my friends has an Indian husband. I really like him. And he introduced me to the real Indian cuisine. And I must say after the Hungarian cousin ( because I'm a Hungarian) the best food the Indian! I love the way they make lentils, spinach, split peas (what I always hated Hungarian way) My so called "dream is ate that lentil thing what India Jones eat. When I was young I always thought it was not so good. But since I got to know some Indian people I know it is some kind of lentils. Witch is good!
