I’m a native Californian who was born in the Bay Area and grew up in the LA area. DO IT! I moved out of California last year blindly to outside of NYC and I’ve fallen in love with the city. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t even like cities! There’s something very unique about NYC. Other cities all felt the same, and I’ve been to all the major ones, but NYC really is it’s own little world. Go for it! Experience life while you’ve still got it!

oh my gosh... this video made me cry... but a good cry. I miss my hometown, this video made me miss it even more. the lovely photography - the even more lovely subjects... that stylish man speaking about his necklaces from Hawaii, that lovely couple on a bench in WSP sheer daily moments of joy & beauty you capture. I was reminded of my constant skipping out on going to my catholic high school in queens and taking the 7 to reach my nirvana as a teen = Washington Square Park just "to be"... to soak it in. And this is why I love thrifting. Each clothing literally has a story . I love it . The explosion of creativity in NY made my heart smile. I thrifted a real coach wallet from the thrift store and it was $3 . I found a picture a little girl had colored and put her name and age and it was folded in the wallet. I havent moved it since and have kept it . It made me cry a little and I felt connected to the previous owner i could never ever let it go
