honey instead of sugar cause its a natural sweetener plus it pairs well with berries

That is a good idea. I probably won't use it, because I don't care for honey in beverages, but it would certainly be a healthier alternative for those who do.

That looks really good! Personally I'd chop the onions thinner but that just comes down to personal taste. I'll definitely give it a try!

I agree, more thinly sliced onions would have been better. I was really hungry and didn't prepare as meticulously as I normally would.

This is great, if you want to get diabetes.

There's only a teaspoon of sugar in the smoothie... that's like 5 grams... not like it's a tub of Mountain Dew!

I mean, you added sugar AND whipped cream to a smoothie that already had plenty of sugar from the fruit, milk, and juice. The fiber from the fruit should help balance out the sugar in it, but when you add the granulated sugar and whipped cream that kinda throws it out of balance.

@@georgebraymusic The whipped cream is sugarfree, but yes I get what you're saying about the fruit. I did say when I put the sugar in that it wasn't needed. I had a sweet tooth that morning!

@@BarrelShape didn't catch that the whipped cream was sugar free, that's a good call there!

@@georgebraymusic I would estimate that the smoothie serving I poured had 20 grams of sugar in it total... not great but I don't think we're in pre-diabetic territory yet - especially because it's only a once a day thing.
