i used gemming Gremlins, goblin and long shot these start when 10 Percent troops fall so to starting there effect soon i made 500k each t1 so t1 down soon and some t2 reaches 10 Percent and they start attacking enemy as like this we will get less damage or moral will go down soon

Thats what I run. Aquiris and the 3 40% have debuffs...very effective

Here is the best and most accessible to use: aquiris, evil weevil, pyris and 2 debuff familiars depending on your formation :) for example if it's inf Frontline u would want jaziek and terraspike... Etc

for HP fams, I get Debuf are great if you get countered..etc! But vs the HP boost... If a rally has 3.75m troop vs a defending castle with 25mil+ for example and lets says its a wedge. Not just the defending front line is gonna fight so wouldnt boosting the defending troops HP be better as you are giving HP boost to more troops and even troops not in front incase you get in trouble.

For my ex solo trap now rally trap. I use terror spike, magmalord and jaziek. The 40% hp reduction is nice espically defending rallies. If u cant afford the t5 fams like me :/

The familiar only proles when your 10 percentage troops fallen ,Simply it will prokes after 2m troops dead. If you use pyris , It'll prokes at the start of the battle.. So ,Can simply tell, none of them is bad😁

with todays outcomes , that can reach arround 5m loses if getting countered and arround 2m if you tank , the 10% till it activate became something that happens almost everytime, so having that gryphon boost and tempestite stunt in case things go wrong will save your life and stop damage and not allow him to walk back , and about the 40%hp or 15hp that for small players, ,a dude can have 300%HP cav + 400hp army , 40% is so small that has almost no effect , so better have gryphon in case thingsgo wrong as a safe card

Hey so I just started thinking about this but maybe someone can bring some light? In theory, right; if you’re sending a range blast, pyris would be beneficial right? As range heroes and troops don’t have to march? Thoughts?

all the heroes, in this game, have 200% squad attack (even admin heroes), so what pyris does is increase it to 320% for all heroes. Thr problem with pyris is that, the boost is just for your heroes, not for whole army, which doesn't play a huge role in the battle.

Range heroes don't march but the enemy troops take time to get to your range troops.

IF you were a ranged rein trap, would you use Weevil, Aquiris and then Trickstar instead of Terraspike? Likelihood is that if you get countered, you'd trigger that Piercing Spike AND Long Shot, but if it's ranged on ranged, you're most likely to still trigger the Long shot but not Piercing Spike? I ask this as before the counter research and familiars this was more true, don't know about now though?

those are covered under the "familiars that proc right away" but those i dont like as much because i rather have ones that boost me since i know ill always benefit, kinda bad to lower ranged max HP when u got a cav blast coming at you, you know?

@@Aevatrex when that happens you take out the one which reduces range and you put in the one that reduces army hp by 15 % so when you get a cav blast you can reduce it by 55% hp

@@Aevatrex well for me i maxed them being f2p and all 3 are on my wall.. reducing enemy's 40% hp. working on my 4th slot.. which will be for aquiris. so no matter what they send... my familiars will reduce 55% enemy hp. i think tempestite will help a lot when you got multiple rallies set on you or if I'm being rallied by a full mythic champ... then gryphon n tempestite might come handy, I'm just assuming i might be wrong

Evil wheely , aquarius , magmalord , jazziek and terraspike ... those last 3 will lower attackers hp by 40% .. if u have not got the 5th slot open i would remove the jaziek , in the big leauge no1 attacks with cavs ( almost always inf , because range reinf are the best to have )

Why not use the familiars that debuff hp by 40%? Like for example if you sit in inf wedge you would have the familiar that debuffs cav hp by 40% so the counter isn't as bad

I very much agree with all this information. However I have a question. I have 3 battle slots open at the moment. 2 of which are taken up by the hp increase for me, and reduction for the enemy. What familiar would you recommend next? My frontline being inf (rally party trap btw) The 15% attack one for what troop that would counter cav, or the 15% attack for the troop stat i have lowest in my mix set?

I have found Pyris good for Darkness walls. It has allowed me to do runs with no siege as they hit the wall with this bonus.

And the much awaited video has arrived :) Hi and thank you Aevatrex :) I"m still a bit confused so hopefully someone can help me out here with advices :) So, I have 3 slots, 1.5K orbs(I'm only getting orbs from events or cargo so I can't waste any :) ) As for defense, what would you guys use on wall to help out 17.5M troops(4.2M each T2 and 1.3M each T4 + 1M T4 mix reins) ? Are Evil Weevil and Aquiris + the 15% attack boost one for my frontline(which could vary if I see what's coming...so the 15% atk one in this case may be useless if I can counter with other type) doing better than the 3 familiars that drops the enemies HP by 40% ? I could use all 3 of them so they could be effective against whatever it's coming. Is it better to give my troops 15% more HP and drop my enemies troop HP by 15% and maybe get lucky to have the correct 15% atk one on my wall than having the three 40% HP ones ? From most of whom I've got advices so far weren't that limited on orbs so I've got all sort of variations but all were way more over my "budget". Thank you in advance :)

Gotta disagree on buffing your frontlines atk, I think thats the least important stat because if you counter them theyll do nothing anyway. It's more important to buff your backline troops atk because the times where you don't counter them are when you could take serious damage.

This video is just bad advice. I love the content but for defending you’ve got it all wrong. The debuff fams are your best friend when it comes to defending. If you’re limited to battle slots. You debuff what counters you. The more slots the more debuffs you place and buff your own HP as well. They help and are more effective than the 15% atk ones. As for losing 4%. If you're under 20 MAYBE 30m troops. They are worth but. But anything over. Just no. Don’t do it.
