Oops😂 the image at 09:50 didnt export. it is a near identical frame of the same scene, taken on portra. My point was to illustrate that they look very similar, so you didn’t miss anything❤

dubblefilm has some neat stuff that would straddle the line of the budget and quirky category, their 'cinema' stock is like a poor man's cinestill 800t!

New subscriber here!! Cool videos and mood overall! 😁 Here in Italy the prices are not so similar to the one you showed 😅 A roll of Kodak Gold 200 of 36 exp is about 14€ (or dollar, is similar today 😅)

I don't think there is a difference in Ultramax, if they are packed in green. What you say about typical characteristics of Fuji films, this applies to stocks made by Fuji. At present, no Fuji negative stocks made in Japan are officially sold outside of Japan. Fuji ė00 and 200 are made by Kodak, and can't be distinguished from Kodak's Ultramax and Gold apart from the edge print saying Fuji.

Where do you find fuji 400 for $8.39!? I can't find it for less than $10 a roll.

If I remember right, this price was based off a 3 or 4 pack of 35exp, maybe that could help? I know Walmart carries it usually! Or BH may have it cheaper than Amazon (usually)

@Anjroo I don't know why, but I never considered buying in packs. I just started film photography a couple of weeks ago, so I only have my local camera shop's single roll prices as reference. Thank you for responding. I had no idea what B&H was before this; that's definitely going to help.

I think those first 2 stocks are essentially the same film stock. From people testing it they think fuji 400 is ultramax and fuji 200 is gold.

Yes I’ve heard that! That’s when Superia changed into “Fuji”. Though I’ve heard rumors that fujifilm is back in production again. Hopefully that’s true!!!!!!
@b6983832Ай бұрын
@@Anjroo I hope they will. I think there is enough market for their films. Superia X-tra was great for nature, if you need more speed than Ekttar 100 would give you.
