I’ll post my tripod updates in this pinned comment! (Sept’24) Corrections: -07:28 the plate screw does have a slit for a flathead screwdriver, so it’s not limited to just the Allen key -At the time of recording their msrp is 250, however is sometimes $300, so get it on sale!

My quenstion would be how durable is Ektar camera i long term. Though i know it is a most budget camera still one might hope it'll last for years without the need to re purchase the same camera after 3 films because of some mechanical failures....

Thx for all the info! One question, does the camera need to avoid the X-ray when it hasn't been opened yet?

The picture at 4:26 was by far my favorite shot, it’s funny how many great pieces are made by completely accident. Might have to go out of my way and get this camera to experiment with the double exposure mode.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m very new to this world. But I had this camera gifted along with a 36exp film roll. When the counter is at 36 am I finished or does the counter go to 72? Is there an obvious time the roll is done?

What were the specs for the lab scan? What scanner did they use? Most labs offer various scanning options, starting from 3 MB JPEG to 150 MB TIFF files. Without knowing those, comparing a lab scan against a home scan is just not useful.

Hey, I have a question. How do I get these photos from these disposable cameras? Will I get them digitally or do I have to get them developed? Btw, loved your video. You have a new subscriber.
@Anjroo
@Anjroo 27 күн бұрын
You’ll have to take it somewhere to get developed and scanned! Then they will send you digital jpegs of those photos :) Usually a local film lab, Walmart/ Walgreens also offer these services, however they just send them to a 3rd party so results may vary!

@Anjroo

I recommend using the flash more than you think you need to, plus the sun will overpower the flash if it doesn’t need it, so it can’t hurt using it every time! Just practice and feel it out :)

@@Anjroo hi again, I have another question, does this camera have any iso reader?

@@Anjroo ok, do how does it know what iso film is inside? Maybe my question is silly but I just need to know haha. I already have mine Ektar h35 and I’ve noticed that the flash diode doesn’t work even if the battery is inside. The flash works, but the diode doesn’t say when it is ready for work. Is it normal?

A lot of people go to Walmart/walgreens, but they just send it off to third parties, so it’s always a gamble on how they turn out! I go to my local lab, but there are some mail in options as well for those who don’t have easy access!

Great video! Just got the H35N, new to film photography. I have ISO 100 and 400 film at home but worried about the photos coming out too dark/light... thoughts? Not keen on shelling out more $ for something like ISO 200 in the middle, but will if necessary.
@Anjroo

Hi! Great questions, Film performs better with overexposure than it does with under exposure, so you actually have better odds of “saving” a pic in editing if it’s too bright :) so you’ll be just fine!

Hey Anjroo and to anyone that's reading, I was wondering if you could please address and/or spread the hate video where Theo Von says he would eat a vietnamese person. As a Vietnamese American I have experienced so much hate in this world that I'm just going crazy. Not a single person chose to be born as who they were born as, yet others feel the need to put down and bash others down, to dehumanize them and say they would eat people from a specific ethnic group. I was just wondering if you could spread the word and bring the awareness to such hate. Thank you!
