I worked at Gatorland for 2 years back in the 90's. The owner was very country and down to earth. He was a nice man.

What was it like working there ?

@ I worked there from 1989-1991. I was in the office. It was fun up until the point they fired me the day I returned from my vacation. The woman I was working with in the office was jealous of me because I was going to college and I knew more about accounting than she did and talked smack about me while I was gone and got the manager to fire me. Up until then, I had a great time there. I ate alligator nuggets, I played with the snakes, and I learned a lot about gators.
