A pair of big headphones and a hoodie pulled over my head the second I get in my seat generally works. Either that, or I'll just be honest. "I'm really exhausted and I can't even form a coherent thought right now. I don't want to be rude, but I'm not up to a conversation today."

Yassss finally!! Or another thing that annoys me is if your in the three seater area and the people next to you talk so loud when they see you sleeping. Or they try to include you in on the conversation. Then that second person leaves to the bathroom and that person who is left tries to talk to even though you have headphones. Yes this happened to me once flying to LAX and then flying to Chicago.

OMG I can only immagine what a nightmare it is to go straight to a flight after a show and having people trying to forcibly converse with you and keep you from getting your beauty rest. I'd be annoyed out of my mind lol

Totally agree. And it's usually always men who want to talk too, do you notice that? I'm never seated by woman, usually one or two men, and yes they want to talk which makes me think, are they flirting? I don't get it.

The price of Fame hun. Why not honestly tell them how you feel so they can adjust to your needs? I know I love to talk to strangers, but I'm a really friendly person and I like meeting new people. That said if someone is honest, and polite about it I'm more than happy to adjust and find someone else to talk to.

God dammit, I used to work with this kid in an office where I was lucky enough to be allowed to pop in my earbuds and get to work. Every 20 minutes, this fool was tapping me on the shoulder to ask me what I did over the weekend or if I had seen the latest episode of The Walking Dead, knowing GOOD AND GOD DAMN WELL I have never seen the show nor do I intend to. He got on my tits like a gross sweat-induced fungal rash.
