TBH, Rick isn't really wrong. Sonny and Alexis have shielded KRistina from any consequences from her actions. Hell, even Michael, Sam, and Jason have protected Kristina from herself. Meanwhile, Molly has been forced to essentially raise herself and essentially been swept under the rug by everyone in her life accept TJ.

Untrue. Sam and Ric have commented in the past that Alexis favors Kristina. But, Alexis told Sam years ago that she has to be more protective and vigilant of Kristina because Kristina has been through more (she nearly died from an illness as a baby and was kidnapped) and has a mobster for a father so she's always a target.

That's why Kristina has been getting more of their mother's attention through the baby's death but Molly can take it. And Molly wouldn't let Alexis do that because Molly doesn't strike as someone who's going to let someone take the blame for her actions. Now we know Kristina didn't actually kill Cates, how will Kristina feel knowing her wonderful father and brother let her mother go through with this when all Sonny had to do is tell the truth? If he really wanted to help his child he could start with confessing to get Alexis out of this but he's not going to do that because he is the most selfish man in Port Charles.

Ric has been absentee dad for years but Sonny hasn’t been a absentee dad and where was Ric when late agent Cates veberaully attacked his daughter in court and Sonny had to step in stop veberal attack on Mollly . And Molly hasn’t been through all the stuff that Kristina been through first of all has had childhood cancer and lived thought it.second of all Kristina has been in bus crash, trapped under roller coaster, car bomb that was meant for Johnny, beat up by Kifer who was her boyfriend, and then the dawn of day mess and lastly here recently fallen out of a window causing the death of her sister unborn child. But Molly says that Kristina keeps messing up. But Kristina didn’t bring some things on herself. Molly isn’t perfect she has made her own mistakes. So as TJ .
