It’s as crazy as saying to a woman whose husband left her for his knocked up mistress, “You must forgive them.” I cannot forgive sins. Only God can do so. Or the church people saying to me, “Sorry. Please forgive me for my role in why you did not get to raise any of your four children or even talk to them for a decade and a half, because of what the church person’s crimes caused. You use forgive.” They are the same ones who say to forgive serial murderers, habitual criminals and child rapists. They are trying to twist what is normal into something perverse. Every idea they have is NEVER to DO the repairs and the restorations, it is ONLY to ask a forgiveness for being caught. They aren’t sorry for what they did, they are only sorry they are going to gehinnom. Not every person doing such willful sins will receive a pardon. They think they will, but Talmud says differently.
