I forgot who God was after years of being hurt by Christians. The Chosen reminded me of who Jesus was and still is. After watching a lot of the cast interviews, I noticed that some of them were also at a difficult point of their lives. God is indeed working through this project in every aspect possible. Thank you for helping me come back to Jesus, where I should have always been since the very beginning.

Dang sorry to hear that brother I know some of our brothers and sister can be very Judgemental. I used to hb one of those judgemental people it was my way or the high way, I'm right your wrong. I use to have it very bad telling people what they think by using figures of speeches and they always misunderstood me. Also, if it was something not good about me I would disagree I had a narrow mind perspective till Christ took me to therpy. The main powerful things we should focus on as believers of Yeshua is Love justice and mercy. Especially, love 1 corin 13. We should be of one mind and not against each other. Phill 2:2, 1 corin1:10and 2 Tim 2:24. Plus, being non judgmental and I got to say that is a tough one because they dont do therpy in the churches anymore. Roman's 2:1-3 and Roman's 14:1-13. To love one another is to not Judge and having a open perspective and dont jump to conclusions quickly. I rather be in Absolute Truth rather than Subjective Truth. God is Absolute and he never changes Hebrews 13:8.

@@michaelg7904 no that's not how it went down . I was not broken by sin. I didn't even think I was a sinner. I pretty much kept the ten commandments because I thought they were just the right things to do. Except Sabbath, I never kept Sabbath before. He broke me through exhaustion trying to stay afloat financially and energy-wise. (A single mother).The night I accepted the Lord by the next day miracles were happening in my life. Everything turned around. Totally changed my life. now I keep Sabbath, eat clean and keep his feasts. Now I know I'm a sinner and am trying really hard not to be. And walk as Christ walked.

I am 67. After 4 decades of struggling to quit smoking weed because it filled a void it filled an emptiness. I quit December 26th 2022. I've always believed in Christ, but this was different. It's only been a month, but I have NO desire for the herb even though I know it does have a healing purpose, but I just don't want or need it anymore. I binged watch the Chosen 3 times all the seasons and I am so excited for Feb 2nd I have my movie ticket! I can't even tell you how this saved me. God told me this same thing - "not my job to feed the thousands.." One day I was so distraught seeing so many homeless around, and I was struggling as well but had a little extra cash. I bought just one person some food and then it inspired a couple more people to ask other homeless around and get them food and they thanked me. And before those other people bought them food I was thinking I wasn't good enough. God uses you right where you're at with what He's given you.

I can't imagine how hard it is to face persecution daily . Can't read the bible. Maybe u can on your phn ? Then delete it. Paul is amazing. Ephesians 6:12 for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms . It is also import to put on the full armour of God. . Ephesians 6:14- 17 stand firm then , with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place , and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace . In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one . Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit , which is the word of God . One of my favorites Galatians 4:26-27 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith , for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Remember being persecuted for Christ is a blessing . God can use our sufferings to show others about himself . What an honor to be like Jesus was for us. ( I know its easier said then done , as I'm living where there isn't any. But I do want to be a missionary, hope by God's grace you and me , others may be obedient to our Lord God. He can do anything. Stay strong, if anything else. Love the lord your God with all your heart, all your mind all your strength. Love your neigb as yourself. I only just found “The Chosen” and it has affected my life in a very profound way. I saw the first episode then binged watched the rest of season 1 and 2 in only 2 days. I couldn’t get enough of Jesus and his disciples. It felt like a “reset” button was pushed and I started to remember just how much I feel connected to Jesus and how much I wanted to touch the lives of everyone I came into contact with. I cant wait to pay it forward, and watch season after season, all while helping people all over the world get back to our roots of loving and caring for one another. Hi, i love your youtube name. Slave of YAH. But i am very saddened by your reply. I don't know you or where you are in your walk with Yahuah. But Scripture is clear. You can not serve 2 masters. Christianity is not serving Yahuah. Why because they break the 1st 4 commandments, by calling Yahuah Lord(which you do as well). They call our Messiah YAhusha Jesus, which is not our Messiah's Name. And not keeping the Sabbath. We are known by our fruits. Christianity does not keep the 7th day Sabbath. I just recently started to watch "the Chosen." My sister, who is a part of the Life Action Ministry traveling the US and leading in revivals, had already watched the show and was impacted by it. Just two weeks ago I bought the DVD at Wal-Mart for my wife. I didnt know what to expect. We watched two episodes together and I binged watched the entire season after she and the kids went to bed. It was so good! I couldnt stop! And we cant help but cry in every show because we can identify with the characters and the way Jesus was portrayed helped us feel closer to him. Now we are chomping at the bit to watch season 2! Its amazing how religion in the church has made Jesus and God so distant. But to truly know him is to step away from traditions and rituals. Its to seek only him and eat on his word. Its to feel the nail scarred hands. It's to know his love for us. Its to become a child once more in our faith. Its to feel his tender embrace and to know his mercy and grace and to see our sins washed away by his blood.

Thank you so much for your testimony, many Christians are trying to play God and when it does not work, they leave the faith. It is so important to remember that we provide the loaf and the fishes and God does the miracles. He wants it that way to keep us humble. What a great lesson of humility which I had to learn myself. God gave me the gift to write some powerful Christians songs for the pagans to understand but He does not allow me to publish them. He has established a way for people to hear them without my help which makes them more creditable. The Christian's that do not have this deep faith like you have, don't understand them. That is why Jesus asked in the Scripture: "When I return will I find faith on earth?" This the reason for the pandemic, to develop in us the faith you speak about. May God continue to work through you in such a powerful way. God bless

Your testimony is inspirational and moving. I have heard versions of it several times before as I watched you in interviews discussing The Chosen. However, due to the format of the interviews the essence of the message, the fact that God's hand is so clearly involved in bringing about this show usually gets lost. I was deeply moved and renewed in spirit from the moment I first watched the short film The Shepherd. It also let me to support The Chosen project. I cannot remember the last time I was so excited and passionate about anything. More importantly, I cannot think of another film project that has had as much of an impact on my faith, except maybe The Passion of the Christ. The Shepherd, and even more so The Chosen, have touched me to my very core and made me reevaluate my relationship with Christ and my own faith in action. Those who have met me after I accepted Christ into my life will say that I am a rather poor example of a Christian, and they are absolutely correct. However, those who knew me before I gave my life to Christ would certainly notice the profound and dramatic changes in character and spirit that have taken place in me since my sudden and miraculous conversion about 20 years ago. I am a work in progress and will remain a major "construction zone" until the day I die. However, The Chosen continues to remind me of the work I need to do and encourages me to keep running the race. God bless you, Dallas and all those involved in making this show a reality.

Good lesson. I have had failures and yet I have had joy flow through me simultaneously. It is a weird feeling when you think the feeling would be one of disappointment. It reminds me of Isaiah 58:8 where God says "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways" declares the Lord. We think and do things in the flesh and with good intent, only to find out God was thinking different to us and preparing different outcomes. Just understanding that brings joy not disappointment.

I can’t really express how much this is relevant to filmmaker like myself, those hardships and wandering in the dark of the valleys in our creative life will not be wasted in the hand of Christ who continue moulding us to be humble into a vessel who willing to use by Him to make content that serve for the needy.. thanks for the hard works you have put into the series I really love it, I have not stopped to introduce The Chosen to my christian communities even though we are primarily speaking mandarin, and yet the films are powerfully presenting who Jesus is!!! Awwwwwweee I like how he was poking fun at his doctrine- but it’s evident that he is Holy Spirit filled. When people hear the voice of God it’s not typically an audible voice, but an internal knowing that can’t be described. God’s voice will always present itself in ways that free you- and that’s what’s so beautiful about conviction. It’s our selfishness that turns against being challenged by those who can bless us through our blind spots. God’s plans are to prosper and not to harm...

I had never seen this testimony before tonight, and to see this after the huge hit that was season one, and the huge hit that was the premiere of season two (which I have yet to watch) - it's amazing. I had already rediscovered God and stepped back into a relationship with Christ when I first watched The Chosen, but even so, it's been so powerful to have that visualization of the life of Christ and the people he encountered. One day, only a couple of years ago, after rededicating my life to Christ, I went up for prayer at church. I have lived a life where I walked with God for some time, then rejected him and fell into sin, and became so broken that I cried out in despair and felt the presence of God in a remarkable, undeniable way. That day, when I went up for prayer, my pastor said to me: "As you walked up here, I felt God say 'Peter stands before you.'" Witnessing the moment when Jesus called Peter had such an impact on me because of that one thing that was spoken to me. And seeing the behind the scenes video of Dallas in Israel, talking about that exact moment, mentioning that Peter was a tradesman and likely not a good student made it all resonate so much more with me because I've struggled academically to the point where I stayed back once in high school and ended up dropping out of college. Thank you, Dallas, for answering the call that God put on your heart, and stepping out in faith to create The Chosen.

I confess to being a lukewarm Christian prior to this show. It reawakened in me my longing not just for Jesus but the community of followers. I honestly pray for nothing but blessings. Dallas says, "i can define my life as before that moment and after that moment." And Dallas, i can define my life as before hearing this story and after hearing it. I also received a couple words in the same vein around the time i came across this story, and together they have kept me afloat and brought me to a place where i am no longer near suicidal. I am still attacked with fear daily, but I am able to talk back to it and walk in a level of faith i only just reached through a similar level of desperation, and thereby surrendering to God. HE IS GOOD!

Really powerful testimony. When God steps into our failures it is powerful. I had a major crisis 11 or 12 years ago. It's strange but that ultimately led to my faith becoming much deeper and stronger.

Hi all, I am from Johannesburg South african and Finally we could get The CHosen Season 1, my word, I have no words, my twin girls of 6 is watching with and last night we watch the last episode, there is no words to put when watching The Chosen, it is like I am with the team, the disciples, Jesus and all, walking and talking, it is beautiful, it is humble, it is precious and a new light of who Jesus is and who His disciples were, they were not just there, they had character just like Jesus had, we tend to read the stories and the Bible and think these were just people but NO they werent, they were eating and drinking, laughing , playing and just be, like US! I wish I could setup an Agency in South africa to buy the t shirts and hoodies and all, I am very very proud of you Dallas, you and all of them, the way you portrait the Characters is stunning, very passionate and very human. In October we experienced a miracle when our daughter went into acute respiratory failure. I have not been the same since because God taught me the Gospel in a hospital waiting room. Since then I've been researching. I can clearly see who knows truth, and who doesn't now because I know him. You guys know the truth. I'm praying soooo hard for this project. I just finished the first season. Hearing the story behind it has BLESSED my heart. Keep going brother! Keep going!

I'm a reformed Baptist. Now I can hear God. LOL. Seriously, I am the founder and director of a non-profit that is a family saving, suicide prevention organization that works with veteran and military families. I totally get your loaves and fishes (thank you for sharing that!) God has recently taught me that I am a seed planter, not a harvester. Hard lesson for me, the person who wanted to both plant and harvest. He clearly told me it's my job to get our families to our healing retreats, plant the seeds, then it's HIS JOB to change their hearts. And I'm good with that - it gives me great joy and peace.
