Well I'm a bit disappointed. Can't get this beautiful baby to stay in tune. Might have to return it. Real disappointment. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

Should i buy this guitar? In Malaysia it costs 439MYR which is around 94USD. I'm just wondering how the build quality is compared to a bullet strat because a bullet strat here is double the price around 820MYR / 175USD

Build quality is very good. Comparable to a Squier Affinity.

I've just ordered the Ice Blue version of this guitar. I have had a Stagg Telecaster in Tobacco Sunburst for years and it has always performed better for me than Fenders or Squiers - they really are underrated guitars. Selling my Squier Strat that's two weeks old (hence buying the Stagg) because I just love the way Staggs handle. Thank you for the informative video!

Juz love this budget guitar. Was thinking gonna get a hardtail bullet but this Stagg looks amazing. Love that vintage looks. But I might gonna get a IBM - Ice Blue Metallic. It's kinda looks cool.

LOL You are so ill Joe, and I love it. Because I have the same disease. We can both understand it. The guitar was instantly recognizable to me as a Stagg guitar, because..... I just picked one up about 6 weeks ago. I think maybe I got a different model. Not sure. I think mine is the SES-60 Super-Strat HSS. And the Bucker is nickel covered. And I gotta tell you... the one I got is SMOKIN!!!! I absolutely love it. But I was at a real advantage on it. I was out of Town in a different State a month or so ago, and I went into a little guitar shop that I hit when I'm up there. The guitar was hanging up in there, and I picked it up. Could NOT live without it. I think he wanted $200 bucks, and since I am in there some, and we talk... he said he was good with $150! I couldn't believe it. I grabbed it, and I felt bad afterward. I should have given him more than the $150, The guitar is HEAVY, and it is just killer. It must way 10 lbs LOL. But I like a heavy guitar sometimes. It was set up there, and is literally perfect. I still can't believe it. Mine is the natural finish, and all kinds of really beautiful wood figuring. Black head-stock & it actually has a roasted maple neck (rose-woodish looking fret-board with some nice figuring as well). Just an amazing guitar. Probably the best deal I have ever gotten on a musical instrument - period. Anyway - cool vid. I'm glad you are in relapse again, and I hope you and that guitar have a thing, and make some music together.

Hey brother! We have the "disease", but i'm not sure it's one we want to cure!! That SES-60 is a beauty! Love the block inlays. Does yours also have a "thicker" neck? Which color did you grab? Got a great deal. Hope you are well Jimmy!

@@AJgeartalk Yeah Bud. It is just a KILLER guitar. One of my faves now. And yes the neck is a little on the thick side. A little thicker than I normally like - but not too bad. And roasted maple! Crazy for $150 bucks. Natural wood finish with LOTS of wood grain and figuring on mine. Black pick-guard and black head-stock. I love it! And I like the one you got too. I think maybe Stagg is upping their game.

@@AJgeartalk LOL Yes! I think maybe that's why it isn't written on the head-stock. They put "Stagg" on the back, because the name is terrible. But I'll tell you what. My SES-60 is insane! Man I can't put it down right now. It SMOKES!!! Heavy as a barrel. But killer.

if you had to choose between this guitar and square bullet what would you choose? I would appreciate your answer! Do you think for me as a beginner this is a good choice for a first electric guitar? And to add this, my goal is not to solo, but to play chords and some simple songs

Next time try the STAGG SES-55 with 3 alnico single pickups, Paulownia body and maple neck & fingerboard and only 10 euros more expensive than this model. You've been surprised by the sound at STAGG SES-55 strat.

I am looking at a Stagg, I really want a lightweight Strat. Only thing holding me back is someone said the SES30 has a really fat neck. I like the SES55 with the roasted neck hoping it will have a thinner neck. Only thing I don’t like on the 55, and this is petty. It doesn’t have the bottom end of the fretboard rounded like the 30 or a Fender it is squared off.
