I 100% agree with Jake on his take on alcohol. I wasn’t as sheltered growing up but I did grow up in very conservative Christian home. I knew I wasn’t allowed to drink but then again I was never really into it. I didn’t have my first sip until I was 22 and I hated it. I tried everything under to sun just to see what all the fuss is about: beer, wine, margaritas, straight liquor, seltzers, specialty drinks etc. and it was all just whatever. It really made me reflect and ask myself why this thing has a hold on so many people. Alcohol has single handily been the cause of so many failed marriages/families, car accident deaths, violence, you name it. You don’t need alcohol to have a good time and it’s super expensive!! Anyways thanks for coming to my Ted talk. 😅

As a super casual drinker of alcohol, I am agreeing with Jake. It's too expensive at events and I have to keep drinking at the same pace or I feel like crap for 24 hours after. And I'm 30 so I figure it's only gonna get worse. Just stopping while I'm ahead hah

When I grew up my Mom always said if I wanted to drink just drink responsibly and let her know, so that she could be available if I needed a ride, so I was not sheltered at all. However, I just never liked the taste of any alcohol and have never seen the appeal of it. When I would tell people in college that I did not drink, people would literally ask me if I used to "have a problem" or assume that I was pregnant, which was super weird/sad especially considering I wasn't even 21 yet. Jake's take on alcohol was really nice to hear. I do not judge other's who drink, my husband drinks, but it just isn't for me.

Loved the unpopular opinion segment, 👏🏻missed hearing “Judge Jake” & the size of the baby though. Also, agree with Jake on alcohol. Being raised a very sheltered kid I didn’t have my first real drink til my 30th birthday. I certainly have fun drinking occasionally as a treat with my friends & siblings but don’t love how everyone seems to need it to have fun or how easily you can become dependent on it. However have you ever had a boozy milkshake? Cuz that takes treat to the next level! 🤣

Thanks, everyone, first time in a long time that my dogs haven't had to "go out" in the span of one and a half hours, it's either familiarity of your voices in the TV room.... or, it may just be first snow day cozy snuggle-time.. Happy Birthday, Trey! Hope you have a wonderful time in my hometown and that team you are cheering for wins. P.S. You would have been super bummed at my wedding - there was no rapping, but there was also no alcohol. One side was furious... dang Mexican relatives. Haha. Hey, I was responsible for about 100 guests-of-the-bride (me) driving two hours back home to Los Angeles area afterwards. They were actually all good sports and many of my friends and family members spent the rest of their time in the desert barbecuing at my uncle's house then went out nightclubbing... word was that it was a great day overall.

I went to a wedding that had a live band during the reception and towards the end of the night the groom played some guitar with the band. It was actually pretty sick since he was just shredding along with the band it felt a little more natural. I also didn't know him very well, so it was cool to get to see him play the guitar since it was mentioned during the ceremony a few times. I still do think in general that people that use their wedding as a stage to perform anything is a little weird at best and very cringy at worst.

Ok so big fan of unpopular correct opinions, when Jake said the thing about pizza being the back bone of America I shouted “you tell him Jake”. Also another big Jake fan moment, I would vote for a president who brought back prohibition too🫣. I’ve never heard anyone with that same opinion, so I was loving it! So fun today. My unpopular correct opinion is running on a treadmill is better then running outside. Temperature is always perfect, you can watch a podcast on KZbin and laugh while doing it, easy to challenge yourself to do better. Anyways love you all. Thanks for always making me laugh 😊

Not sure if this opinion is unpopular but I def think it's correct. The only 3 reasons people (me included) use social media is for business marketing, to feed their addiction to it and/or to get validation from others about their lifestyle/beliefs. P.S. love the show!

I have never drank alcohol...don't care to. Never will. I am thankful that is not my struggle in life. I have chronic health problems and it baffles me how other people's bodies can handle alcohol.

It's funny that Jake says if you start chewing on steak from day one you'll develop teeth so much faster. Real life story is that the first meat my son ever tasted at 6 months was a barbecued pork rib. Ever since that day literally nonstop he has been cutting new teeth and now at a year old is getting his first two molars which is kind of fast on the normal scale of things. So jake's really not that far off I don't think. I always made the joke that he tasted the holy grail of all bbq meat and decided he had to hurry up and pop those teeth out.

I recently sang in ensemble for a wedding of two friends, and they also sang their vows as a duet and it was absolutely gorgeous. They’re both classically trained singers though. I feel like the only way for something to not be cringey is for you to be above and beyond amazing at what you’re doing. Otherwise it’s like that girl rapping. Just, no.
