Flood infestation vs. Thing would be good since they're mainly focused on mob infection, but kinda unfair for the flood since you can only damage mobs FAW mobs when they're set on fire, but they can still be killed without fire with enough damage tho, but the flood really has a disadvantage because it's still a new mod.

Technically, you could use chunk loaders on max distance and you wouldn't have to be next to them.

no, the random tick only occurs around 128 blocks around the player even if more chunks are loaded, also too many chunk would lag like crazy

On another note I didn't see you check out the underground, since the Alien can place and infect sculk below. Did you ever check? Otherwise, would it be possible to check that out in your Wither Storm x FAW video?

grab yourself the scannables mod and scan the area to hunt it out. it's what I had to do with the mi alliance, cause they kept bunkering under ground in caves.

There’s a new infection mod called withering away:reborn is a wither infection mod that you should try that out is almost unbalanced in survival but it looks interesting and cool you should check this out

Obviously there's the idea of letting them all infect for 100 days, but what if you did it in phases? so like the first phase is Fungal Infection, then you activate the Sculk Horde, then you do FAW, and see if the previous infection can withstand the newcomer
