What Happened? A Prepping Couples Wildfire Evacuation.

We had to bugout from because of a wildfire! If you have to evacuate because of a hurricane, tornado, civil unrest or forest fire, this will help you prepare. We describe how we reacted and people reacted and the tools and skills we used during the evacuation. Even after years of preparing, we were not as prepared for a real life bugout as we thought. We will share our lessons learned.

Lots to evaluate! Thank you sooooooo much for sharing this experience!!!! Its so valuable! I laughed at the story of the lady on the highway😅 But it is scary to see people panicking. To hear that you stayed out of your home for a week- yes extra clothes for all members of the family needs to be considered, got lots of things to re evaluate 🤦🏽‍♀️

Check out our video on making an Evacuation list. That should get you started. Also we figured out a good way to do clothes. Get small suitcases for everyone, put old clothes and brushes and whatever else you need in them. We suggest filling them with clothes you don't wear or plan on donating, but look presentable. Keep the luggage packed and grab the when you need to go.

@@KMF3 We did leave early. We only had one way out. When we had to evacuate from the second house, we heard the order.
