Ollie just speaks so thoughtfully, and honestly and with a fantastic perspective. impossible not to root for him.

I mean, gosh, how dare you guys not focus your whole priorities on Coffee Club podcasts during some of the biggest races of your lives! Happy to see y'all back!! Never apologize for taking a couple weeks off- *Especially* during the Olympics of all events!

I hardly leave any comments on KZbin but I have to for this one. The amount of space you guys held for each other. Those guys are are such boys in some episodes and still be strong vulnerable man on this episode. It was a wonderful listen. To witness the friendship, maturity and kindness.

I’m in agreement with Ollie on two things. (1) Geordie’s performances leading into Paris and at the Olympics were phenomenal given his illness and injury. I did hope Geordie was going to be what turned out to be Kenneth Rook. Maybe next time. If we looked back we’d say that was the race that got away, so let’s not. (2) Let’s look forward to Tokyo then LA instead. I like the notion of we’re good, let’s get great. Really interesting insights. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Another great podcast. Looking forward to other guest insights.

Thanks for the transparency on everything. As someone who races at the national level and someone who’s paced some fast races I appreciate hearing what you guys go through. It was a tough year for me and hearing how you guys overcome things or take on new perspectives is really cool. Has helped me a lot.

We are cheering for you all. We cheered for Ollie in his heat at Paris, we loved seeing coffee club shirts as we walked around. Morgan we loved yelling out to you through a hole in the fence to the warm up track in Paris. Thanks for inspiring my daughter to run one day again soon after she has been unwell a number of years.

I just wanted to say as a fan from episode 0, that you guys showed tremendous heart and guts. It sucked what happened at the Olympics, but you all will be back and better than ever at your home Olympics in LA-2028! Ditto on never apologizing for taking weeks off for whatever the reason. F*ck you don't need a reason to skip weeks. We will be here supporting the Coffee Club Gang!

Thanks for sharing, guys. Cheering so hard for continued success and a return to health for George. Don't forget about Hellen getting bronze in the marathon like an absolute beast!

It was rough hearing what you guys had to go through via severe injury for six weeks prior and the social media scrutiny. We are all hoping each of you a very healthy physical and emotional recovery time. You're a great trio of roll models and your thankfulness for the opportunity despite is powerful. Sincerely.

Loved this recap. You all handled some difficult times with such class. Was a huge fan, but even a bigger fan now. Rooting for all of you in 2028 :)

Great to hear you guys talk through your races and mentally work through some of the disappointment. Hardest thing for me to do as a coach is find the words to talk to an athlete when they worked super hard and put their heart and soul into a race and didn't get the results they wanted. I guess what I learned from watching you guys is that what I say probably isn't important. It is better to listen and let their teammates speak the words of encouragement to them and lift them up. Just be present. Get healthy George. Ollie and Morgs, use that fitness and go have some fun racing without all the Olympic hype and pressure.

Glad to see you boys back. Hopefully you have had a restful break and are recovering mentally and physically well 👍 i also think Olli's experience is a strong argument against betting on track

Great video, thanks a lot , guys. What has interested (and pleased me a lot) is the obvious pride that your group - and plenty of other KZbin posters - have in being an Olympian. It is easy to become cynical when so much talk in our sport is about contracts and other cash related issues but it's great to know that the simple things still matter an awful lot to world clas athletes. Good luck for the next four years. Do you ever feel daunted by the amount of work you are going to have to do in that time before LA?

Thanks for giving us this post mortem, it must have been a difficult few weeks processing what happened. You'll all be back better and stronger for World Champs. And how tough is George? Jumping steeples with a pelvic stress fracture 😮🥺. Holy s**t

shouldn't be surprised by betting but i'm surprised. could you guys consider doing an episode on betting in athletics? ty. also, i forget the race, but i recall seeing a journo wearing a coffee club shirt in a press conference after a middle distance final. and that was cool.

Great stories. 30 hours travel time from Zurich to Paris is crazy. It’s a nine hour drive by car even with road construction.

So good to hear from Olli and that he's doing better - so shitty for non track fans to go out of their way to even go on specific profiles to write nonsense

GUYS... PLEASE READ THIS I say the following as a genuine, well-meaning fan -- The fact that all of you have had pelvic stress fractures should be taken as a sign! YOU ARE ALL NOT STRONG ENOUGH. Fire your strength coach! ... I'm kidding, don't fire them., but... You guys need to start squatting and deadlifting with some actual weight -- the two safe ways to incrementally load and train the spinal structure. Geordie... not sleeping is the not first order cause of a stress fracture in your pelvis...

Pro tip on negative comments: read them out loud in your best South Park Cartman voice (or imitate a certain small mustache man from Germany in the 30s). Nothing evens the bumps like a good laugh....

About 11,000 athletes make the Olympics out of a population of 8 Billion. So please remind the “haters” that unless you are in the 0.0001 per cent they don’t know what the f they are talking about! PS remove that copy of the Karma Sutra from your house and your pelvic injury rate will go down.
