What Happened at Tunisia Airport? Why I Deleted the Old Video?

This video explains in short what happened to me at the Airport in Tunisia and why I removed the old video from the public after the ambassador of Tunisia called me and acknowledged the issue.

Bro, I was born in Karachi and came to UK as a young child so obviously British citizen. I am often going to Middle East for business and regularly get stopped, the worst of which was Kuwait. I usually always carry all docs of invitation to avoid problems but I am harassed at airports questioning how come I was born in Pakistan but British citizen 🤦🏽. Few times the airport staff even detained me and phoned to check the authenticity of my passport with relevant embassy

This is common issue faced by thousands of EU passport holders who were not born in EU but are now EU citizens. The worst case I saw was Asian citizens detained in Belarus and Kazakhstan land borders who were genuine UK citizens. Some of this is due to small possibility of being on fake passport but most of it is due to jealousy and envy that how can such people be citizens of EU countries! Just remember you are citizen of powerful country and he is NOT.

This week i visited Tunisia with my family being British citizan and pakistani they treated my like shit and they mad me sit there at the airport for 3 hours for no reason. They were laughing and joking with there friends and ignoreing us. I am so angry at these people i went there to enjoy tunisa but they reduce me to tears. I will never recommand anyone to visit Tunisia because the officer are so rubbish and so disrespectful. I strongly inform the embascy to check them. Its disgraceful. I will never look at this country again in my life.😮😮

You shouldn’t delete the video how the Tunisian officer’s will change their behaviour in the future ? The solution was not deleting the video, the solution is they need to change, they have done that to so many people, they should follow international law ,not the law of Tunisia. Tunisian govt should take strict legal action against the immigration officer they should be in jail as per law this act of inhumanity .immigration department is the first face of every country .tunisian govt should give good training and ethics to there departments.its a humble request to govt of Tunisia.set the example of law.otherwise no one come to your country in bad ethics immigration and extreme corruption

Salam, same thing happened to me while I was on a business trip to tunis,I was holded for 7 hours on ghartaj air port for no reason,they told me that our staff in Islamabad embassy did not put your police clearance number issued from tunis office to Islamabad embassy to write it on your visa,so we will deport you to Pakistan! I told them If there is no number wrote by your staff in Islamabad its not my fault so why you want to punish me for the no reason,they were very rude,can't speak English and behaviour of all of them was very insulting,my business partner in Tunisia who is a Tunisian women came to rescue me,by Goodluck she found her class fellow who was an official in Airport so he helped to bring her to meet me and then she given a written gurantee on her company letter head to take me out of the airport,I request to Tunisian government to please train your immigration staff to treat your guests gently.

Wali pls remember an ambassador’s job is to be diplomatic 😂. You don’t understand by removing the video you lost a huge amount of credibility. You forgot and trashed a huge amount of trauma experienced by yourself and fellow travelers at Tunisia port of entry. By taking down your video, and commenting on how and what your viewers post in the comments takes away the two way communication between your viewers and how they feel about a certain situation. KZbin content creators cannot manage the comments of their viewers. The concept is absurd cause KZbin is just like a mini movie, every one will have their own opinions about your KZbin content. From a broader viewpoint Tunisia was part of Arab spring and they view social media content about their country seriously. I hope they replace their immigration officers and provide a better experience to visitors in the future.
