Tunisia doesn't have to be your out of the list, it is a nice beautiful country and majority of the people are nice like the brother said its a nice beautiful full of historic places country and most of the people are nice and obviously like any tourist popular destinations you may meet pushy sales people who wants to rip you off and take advantage of the situation but you will have better experience if you know Arabic or French.
@mffaruqi6830 Жыл бұрын
@@mhassan8439 In this video he didn't talk about any pushy sales people on any tourist destination. He talked about his experience on the Tunisian airport on his way back to Istanbul. No one there accepted the Tunisia's own currency. They asked for Dollars or Euros and when he gave them, they paid the change back in Tunisian currency. This was the currency he was showing on screen.

I had almost similar experience in Antalya airport in Turkey. They display prices in US dollar only and if you try to pay in Turkish lira, they convert Turkish lira to US dollar at a very unfavourable exchange rate, so you end of paying almost 50% more if you pay in Turkish lira.

What a shame, I have been to many countries and follow bloggers but never heard of this kind of treatment. Even people visited to war torn country Iraq and Afghanistan but always heard good things and no negative feedback. This Tunisia oh my good from government official to shopkeeper all of them are greedy and thugs. Imagine you can't pay in their own currency what stupid system. Greedy dogs looking for dollars and Euro. They should be ashamed of their self. Very sorry to hear this story and I have heard from other KZbinrs as well, they are the most corrupt people in Africa I think. It's not only immigration it's the taxi driver, hotel staff, doctors, airport shopkeepers all of them were inhumane, just money money money oh my god. Not in million years ever I will visit this country.

I was traveling from Istanbul to Chicago last year, and when I ordered for a coffee in Istanbul Airport, they also charged me in US dollars. Moreover I suggest to Pakistanis that they should get Technical Education in any field before travelling abroad. This will help them to get good earning and they can also get permanent residence of any country easily.

We were told that Tunisian Dinar cannot be taken out of the country. Any dinars you have left have to be changed in the bank as you enter the airport (before security). If you go any further then you cannot change the dinars and technically breaking the law taking dinars out. Luckily I spent all dinars before getting to the airport. btw my friends paid around 15GBP for a burger each in the duty-free area. I knew better.
