What Happened in Ao Oni | Full Story Explained | RPGMaker Horror's Dark Beginning

Ao Oni is an older Japanese horror game released on the RPGMaker engine, that gave rise to many pixel horror games following in its footsteps. It was developed by noprops in 2008.
I really enjoyed this game, the fast-paced scripted chases genuinely scared me and had me watching my steps. It was great and I see why it's so popular, there wasn't much to the story but at least enough to make a video out of for those who are curious about it.
