Right now ,with that president they have , El Salvador is one of the safest places to visit. Salvadorians say hi to everyone, they are just friendly, they would even listen to your conversation and will even give out their opinion, that's just how they are, but as a Guatemala we love them, as part of Central America which was a country in the past we consider them our brothers
@TheYarbros2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't call it one if the safest places to visit but it is definitely a lot safer than it was to visit. I also agree with your assessment of the Salvadorian....really open humble people ready to talk and exchange ideas....LOVE their openness and friendly nature. Thanks for tuning in!

@Armando Problemas Take your little angels, as Nayib Bukele said. Most of the prisoners are gangs and the police went straight to the most dangerous areas to begin with, which obviously also includes the lower class, and they are still looking for more in different areas. This war is not over. It seems that defending the rights of "the little angels", the so-called gang members, is something that has become very common with those crap from NGOs or Non-Governmental Organizations. You still think they are not gangs even though they are full of obvious tattoos, even though they have criminal records, even though they want to recruit more people and even make videos on TikTok admitting they are gang members. Even the few innocent people who have been arrested because they have been suspected are eventually proven innocent and set free. They are not random decisions. You are misinformed left and right parties. You should inform yourself more. Other countries would like justice to act like this, especially in Latin America, to take action and stop justifying the actions of those "little angels."
@tonyespinoza72562 жыл бұрын
@Armando Problemas Excuse me, but my brother and my mother were killed by gang members in El Salvador. There is poverty in every country around the world with one tiny fraction of criminality of that one of El Salvador. There’s is approximately 2 million people under 30. And you’re telling me after it arrested 10 thousand guys, government is targeting indiscriminately poor innocent kids with their bodies full of tattoos expressing the gangs they belong to, full of weapons and multiple cellphones that they use to ask for extortion( rent). As far as the government arresting people without due process is a big fat lie. The exception regime allows the government to arrest, and delays the process; but it doesn’t eliminates it. Did you know that real victims, poor but hard working people tire of paying extortion are tipping the police.

@@TheYarbros 2015 was our worst year under a government that fomented crime and violence, since JUN12019 President Bukele's security policy has brought crime, especially homicides, down from over 25 a day to less than 3 a day with many days at 0. The current exception regime was called when gangs caused a spike on a Friday 15 days, and we are now back down to almost 0 every day with over 11,000 gang members out of circulation in society! @@TheYarbros yeah this was just a huge anomaly in crime. Ever since President Nayib Bukele got democratically elected by a vast majority into office he and the new congress have been cleaning the mess the left and right corrupt parties made. He is the most popular president in the world (literally). But anyway the reason for the crime spike was that a couple of billionaire investors had come to visit the country and the opposition funded by nefarious foreign governments(any guesses?) were upset that the president installed bitcoin as legal tender and other reasons so they paid these gangs to make the country look horrible . I stayed on and off in El Salvador in the early 2000s. The people are very kind. I almost can see myself living there when I slow down.

Just to let y’all know, some of they may refer to you as “negrito “ but they they do not mean it in a mean way. I’m saying this because I took a African-American friend to El Salvador and many people were calling him that but they meant it in a very nice way.

Okay, this is not the first time y’all have mentioned the patches. They say imitation is the highest form of flattery…. I’m totally starting my patch collection on my old jean jacket!

I see you stopped by some cool murals. I think one was of St. Oscar Romero. Can you tell me more about him and what he did for El Salvador? I also appreciate your tips. Stay safe on your travels.

Yes, it didn't make this video but it will in the next. He spoke up for #thepeople when it was very dangerous to. He was assisnated by the military and he inspired a movement of resistance.

The Gangs are sophisticated in El Salvador, because everything they known they learned it in the USA. I love your videos !!!!!!!!!
@TheYarbros2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, ik it's a horrible truth. The US exported gangs and supplied weapons, money and military training to a government to kill its own people. Horrible truth.
