Actually this was the first music biopics that made me feel like they were rushing through it. That's why I was so glad when Wu-Tang decided to do a series. The movie was clearly condensed to fit the 90 min run time cuz like I said before they had biggie finding out his girlfriend was pregnant when he was in highschool and in reality that's far from the truth he was in his early 20s when Teyanna was born. The money and time was there for them to take their time and get the movie right.

I remember watching the movie and didnt even know who Anthony Mackie was supposed to be until he said 'Im Tupac" I must have paused the movie for a whole ten minutes just looking at the screen utterly baffled wondering who the hell thought Anthony Mackie should have been pac. Literally ANY darkskin bald nigga with a goatee could have looked more like Pac than him.

Crazy thing is Jamal Woolard was a real rapper at the time, went by the name Gravy. Part of his buzz was sounding like BIG. So those not deep into hip hop, wasn't no big deal. As soon as I saw he was cast, I knew this was going to be good. Feel like All Eyez On Me followed the same pattern as this one. Straight Outta Compton still the best hip hop biopic so far. Probably because they most likely had a bigger budget. Cube son playing him really sold it though.

I will say this movie broke my heart! This was my high school days! I was 18 when he was taken. The first song I ever heard was gimme the loot! I was at a party dancing and was like wow! What is this! And then seeing that album cover 2 weeks after death! My heart was hurting!
