Say what you want about All Eyez On Me, but at least they had someone that LOOKED (at best, enough) like Tupac. Anthony Mackie, as classically trained of an actor as he is, looks (and acts) like he's in a Halloween costume.

Crazy thing is Jamal Woolard was a real rapper at the time, went by the name Gravy. Part of his buzz was sounding like BIG. So those not deep into hip hop, wasn't no big deal. As soon as I saw he was cast, I knew this was going to be good. Feel like All Eyez On Me followed the same pattern as this one. Straight Outta Compton still the best hip hop biopic so far. Probably because they most likely had a bigger budget. Cube son playing him really sold it though.
